Sounds good guys I don't know what car i want to go with , but the GT300 class should fine for me . I want to try a new car just don't know what make . I kinda Beat that Scooby like a rented mule . ; )

Nice man. Just fill the list when your ready. Glad you can make it. And remember you can switch cars once after the first race.
 
I forgot about the Nissan Silvia in GT300, I love that car. I think I'll try that out since there's no GT500 openings.

That is a nice car, I just can't get used to the sound...... the car is actually going fast, but to me it just sounds like it's slow. I like the way it drives and especially like the way it looks. I'm glad to see someone picked it. 👍

I'm gonna be in my lounge practising tonight until late if anyone wants to join. I may be in and out, so just start running and I'll be along soon.

6:25PM PST. The OP is updated under quick facts and qualifying. Qualifying 6:30 to 7:00. The 5 minutes are to ensure everyone is ready and to let each class enter under HP restrictions.

JT, won't there have to be seperate leader boards and points table for each class? If we don't, the GT300 cars could end up earning different points for a certain finishing position depending on how many GT500 cars are in the race.
 
Yeah Bo, I just threw that in there to fill the post. I'll break the points down equal for each class and edit soon. Thanks.
 
How GT300 do it is the same points scoring system as GT500. In fact, this year the leader in GT300 has more points than the GT500 leader. But they're scoring is separate classes, despite sometimes GT300 placing ahead of GT500. But thats just a suggestion, just throwing out there how the real life series does it.
 
Cool, makes sense. Maybe for the 'cool factor' you can make it stand out if a GT300 places higher overall than a GT500?

Sure ncr. DJ really put together a good league and I feel that we have a good crew of online friends because of it. I'm glad that all of the STCS crew will show, should be fun.

I want to use the 3 lap race as a break just incase anyone has a bad time with the rolling start. After the 9 lap I'd like to run another 9 lap with 1 mandatory pit. I just didn't post it to keep it simple.

I'm good with that. I don't think we will have any problems with the rolling start. We should all be good with that by now

I bet I've put in a couple hundred laps on Tokyo in the last week. Had a pretty good race yesterday in a GT300 car. Three of us got in the 1:40's in GT300, but we run more HP in that series.

I've tested about 8 different GT300 cars at Tokyo this week, got a pretty good idea of what most of them will do. :sly:
 
@325hp 1:44's are good times for GT300. 45's are the norm for me so far. I might find more time with a better setup, but I'm happy with the consistency.
 
Since we're doing 3 sprints tonite I'm thinking of mixing it up with different cars to test out. I dig all these cars for various reasons, just wanna have some fun! I've had the most seat time in the Celica so I'll use that for the series but for some reason I want to drive the Garaiya in a race.

Looks like only 4 drivers have committed to the GT300 series so far. Hope we can round up some more.

Let me know how you get along with the different cars. I tested 8 of them on Tokyo, I'd like to see if your results are much different from mine. Other than the Celica, which I usually drive, most of them were run with default suspensions and all were using the same tranny settings. I found most of them all fairly even except for two, those were much slower than the others. The Garaiyas were very quick, and I found the older one a little faster than the new one.

I'm hoping a couple more show for the GT300 class also. 👍
 
45s are quick? I thought that might be a bit slow? I know 45s and 46s are my constant times. With the hp gt300's have they're really 'momentum cars'. You don't have to brake too much besides the first turn. I don't have much experience with super gts, so i figured I'd be off pace.
