AIWJT GT500/GT300 Mixed Class Series

Well we done some extensive testing on these gt300s here at DRC on yesterday, and if everyone drives their cars to the best of their abilities, and no lag is present. Then the results should look like the points standings. :(
 
Hey guys! Guess what? DJ Chon is now Married! I was going to jump in the get away car and blow off the wedding but I was actually on my driving force GT so my wife caught me pretty easily!

As for the Regs issue, NCR (I think) summed it up best so please, no more complaining about car regulations for the well being of the league. Hopefully I can make this weeks race but so far i'm scheduled to work all week.
 
Well I guess I'm just a small piece of the totem poll and what I have to say is just rubbish. I think the well being of the league is for everyone to have a fun, enjoyable and most of all a "fair" chance to win. I've done the testing and I know whats "what". Right now the gt300s are like a field of mules running against a horse. So from here on out, I won't say nothing else about it. Congrats DJ, best wishes.

I really did not drive any GT300 car to check them out before the start of this league. I did understand that many of our guys liked to drive them so I made the league as such. Next season of AIWJT will begin after the 300 class cars are reviewed a bit more. I said something like this before I think?

I'm kind of a jump in and do it kind of guy. There are usually messes to clean up after I start something but usually everyone is glad the party got started. Jess I would definitely appreciate HP and weight restrictions which you think may be appropriate for next season as I really don't enjoy testing cars.

ncr where is your test session review?
 
Well we ran a base lap based on the celica at 325hp and whatever weight the cars came in, the 2 cars that were tested at field requirements were: Toyota mrs and the arta garaiya 08. These two cars filed in as much as 1 to 1.5 seconds behind the celicas lap time. We then applied the pp system( which adjusted the cars hp automatically to the weight), and that brought the cars within hundreds of a Sec. I don't recommend this for the gt500s b/c they are all pretty much the same weight. I support this study 100%, and anyone who wants to test this theory is more than welcome. I enjoy this game and I take it very seriously, so with that said, I WOULDNT STRESS SO MUCH IF I DIDNT HAVE THE PROOF TO BACK IT UP.

May I add that this was done in my lounge, where my Nat is 2 and the bandwidth is high and my seiko is very accurate. With professional drivers. @ jt the weight ranges are: 1050, 1100, 1125, 1150, 1175. Ill tell you what, how about we put this to the test next time were online together. Don't really wanna talk to much on this issue on Gtp anymore, seems to get people uptight, when really I'm just trying to help them out. I'm not saying ncr and boshuter are bad drivers and the only reason they win is the celica. I'm just saying the other drivers are fighting a losing battle.

I think they way you worded your other posts it didn't sound like you were trying to help...at least to me.

Next season will be a more even playing field if the regulations are changed for season 2. I'll do what I can for now though.

So it wasn't just me. Felt like I was being called out or something.

If it were earlier in the season I'd possibly see if I could hop up to gt500 for the remaining races but I like racing gt300 so much more.

Man this is too funny, every post I put up is straight and to the point. If you couldn't catch on then that's not my problem. Maybe you cats don't like me cause I speak my mind/ truth. But I'm a straight up guy, always will be. @ da6, you can get in a gt500 any time you feel. How about turning a 1:39 here at DRC, that's how I'm living. PS. I didn't read a single thing about anybody not liking you, I was confused on what the hell was going on. This is just a hobby for me, I spend maybe 2-3 hours out of the week playing GT5, I don't know that much about testing all the cars for weight and hp, I just assumed JT set the hp to something that made the cars somewhat equal.

Well all of this stemmed from when a certain person lashed out at me and started using profanities when I was in there lounge and was talking to me like I was a dunce. So with that said, I wouldn't be on here acting all anal for no reason. From that day forward I was on a mission to set the record straight. I apologize tothe league for disturbing your system of flow. I do stand by what I said, and regards to what you said ncr, I can prove that theory on any track in this game. I know certain drivers within the group does not like the pp system, but that's the only way the gt300s will run in sync with each other. And again I apologize for rubbing anyone the wrong way.
 
Ok the only one to blame here is JT and I as we set the regs for the 300 class. We should have done more extensive testing. We will welcome any assistance from the league and set new and appropriate regs for the next season. As for the rest of the season run the regs that are set.

CASE CLOSED. END OF CONVERSATION.

Wow I didn't know this was such a sore subject lol. Sorry for bringing it up. I didn't know if the league was aware of the difference or not.

I don't mind having a "slower" car as long as I'm racing within 10 seconds of my opponents on either end. Navigating the track with the 500 cars is another element of fun too. I don't have to be at the front all the time to enjoy it.
 
LMPs and GTs would be sick. I wish we had a premium Biper race car. :sad:
 
Here are clear research results. I would like to apologize to the 300 drivers for not putting more time into the 300 class before the start of the season. A resolution has been found and will be implemented season 2. Thank you.

If the same driver hit their marks in each 300 car on the same track the cars would finish in the order as the charts above at stock HP or any HP setting. I do understand that the mechanical ability of any one car would allow for that car the ability to change the outlines above. However, setting the 300's by HP clearly is not the way to go.

On a serious note is anyone testing tonight? I'm gonna need lots of practice diving into turn 1. I've driven it IRL with no problem, but in game I only get it right 1/3 of the time.
