StarLight Garage presents the Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint from 1979. A small family car with a sporty look. Italian design but not protected against rust.
A classic car anno 2014.

It is considered one of Alfa Romeo's most successful models, with 893.719 examples sold between 1972 and 1983 plus 121.434Sprintcoupéversions between 1976 and 1989.A common nickname for the car is’Sud. The car went through two facelifts, first in 1977 and the second one in 1980.
Alfa Romeo completed its Alfasud line of vehicles in 1976, with the introduction of the Sprint version. Designed as a sports model, the Sprint was based on the same Alfasud wheelbase and was initially fitted with a 75-hp 1.3L (902.A0)petrol engine.
Later on, in 1979, a new 1.5L (902.A5) petrol unit was also available, with a gain in performance of up to 95 hp.
New plastic bumpers and exterior trim were introduced in 1980, while the 1.5L engine received another power boost to 105 hp.
Despite the fact that all Alfasud saloon cars were discontinued in 1983, the Sprint version continued until 1989 under the name of Alfa Romeo Sprint.
