Whoops lol. That's funny too.

Yeah, anyway... sorry bout the ramblings guys. Just didn't see it necessary to call me out cus the room wasn't up 'on time'. I don't think accusing someone of delaying the start for a chance at pole is right either. Thats the only things I had an issue with. Bermuda- it was a joke. You weren't the only guy running the extra rear wing on the R8 anyway! Can't wait to get this race on, SSR5 is a great track IMO.

Not to mention that the #91 and #93 are running at Mid-Ohio tomorrow :) Me Gusta :sly:

I don't even like Vipers much.

Are they coming to Rolex & ALMS tomorrow?

Though I'm not much of a Viper fan (I much prefer Mazda RX-8,) I'm still curious about how the "Italian Viper" will fare tomorrow.

And, about the Olde English, thou make it so wrongly!

Who asked you anyways... :p

I'm not a huge Viper fan myself (still love the car though), but they were almost, if not, influential in the past. Plus, the GTS was the first car I could draw freehand from my mind.

Churp churp.... little birdy's back.

Lots of cruddy passing tonight...
And then my pups got into some spicy cheese forcing me to box :(

I think I accidentally tapped you into the second hairpin Stig. Sorry about that. I usually don't do that.

My only win ladies and gentlemen. Don't expect me up front that often though. Great race overall, couple of close calls with LMP. I got a good start which placed me in second. It feels nice to win every once in a while. Too bad it's only pre-season. :(

👍

Deserved win, out-smarting the faster car into the victory. Well done.

Great 2nd for me, storm took his pit stops much later than me, which caused me to think, "He's planning something, I know it."

Let's get right to lap 48.

"freshseth83 has crossed the finish line in 1st place. One lap remaining."

"You sneaky 🤬!" Turns out, he took account that LMP would finish 5-7 laps ahead of GT, which I did not :ouch:. You should have seen my face when I saw him ahead of me and Seth doing his final lap. Great race.

I did have some incidents where I was taking my line through the really tight kinks and had some LMPs passing into my apexes, so I just tried to hold my line and be predictable and let them work it out. A few times I took a late apex at the hairpin to give away the inside.

I really figured the tire wear for this track out. I did 11 lap stints, pit lap 11, 22, 33 and 45. So I did 10 laps first off, then 11 and 11, then 12 to set up the end of the race with only 10 laps on softs to make sure I had enough 'tire' left in case there was a challenge. Cars seemed evenly paced IMO. IN qualifying we were all pretty close in LMP. I really had almost a perfect lap when I did the 1:11.8! That was on a full tank of fuel. Plus I had a good draft before the flying lap on the straight from a GT, so I really was moving entering into the tunnel turn (doing 305kmh). Gt traffic was crazy, sorry i bumped you there stig. I didn't know which way you were going, thought you were going inside, then switched to the outside so I stayed inside.

What kind of laps was everyone doing for Quali in GT? In practice I was pretty much looking at 1:20's.

Sorry I missed it, it looked as though it was going to start later than I was hoping so I just said "**** it" and turned my PS3 off.

I couldn't get the tire wear to win. I could almost match Seth's pace, but after 9 laps, my tires were gone. I had to switch to mediums just so I could make it to the end without making an extra stop. I accidentally used tc for the race. It actually slowed me down. I was seeing if my setup was faster with or without tc before the race. When I backed out to reset my router, I forgot that I left tc on. I started racing and noticed on lap 2 that I wasn't getting the power out of the corners I was getting in practice. I looked at my throttle bar and saw the tc adjusting the throttle level. :ouch: :banghead: Oh well at least it was the preseason.

 Thanks. I did take into consideration that LMP would finish about 5 laps ahead of us from experience of the last couple of seasons. But I forgot we'd have about two extra laps after that because of the timer. In reality, GT's race is supposed to be over after they cross the finish line AFTER the overall leader finishes his/her race. So our race should've ended before the timer ran out (around lap 50, 51ish).But it was still fun. Not my best track, and also not my favorite track.

In gt i was getting 1.23.7-1.23.8 and during the race my best was 1.23.1. Driving the vette but i think my problem was i was using the wrong gear 186 and only getting up to 163 mph on the straight. The Ferrari was pulling away in the straight but i was faster in the corners. Again sorry for the bump in turn 1 coastie, draft sucked me in. I dont know what happened when i tried to pass you later in the race but that was crazy. Looked like you were drifting in turn 3,4,5 and 6. Then all of a sudden you were sideways in front of me.

Hey guys, Blaze and I are running a 4 Hour Enduro on rFactor today. You can do driver swaps so we're sharing a car.
If anybody cares, here's a link to live timing and scoring: http://cmsracing.com/sls/php/live_view.php?da[id]=1&da[lang]=english
Race starts at around 4:30 and qualifying at 3:15.
We were SUPPOSED to have 2 cars running but a couple people didn't show up to practice. *Cough* TT13 and Kevin *Cough, cough*

Damn, waiting for the Mid-Ohio race to start and about 5 minutes to green flag, the ALMS site goes down.

Ill be honest, iracing is a lot more fun lol. I hope you guys do well though!

Another great finish for the #4 Vette! 1st in class with the #45 trailing right behind. The #55 finishes off the top three in GT. Hopefully the FML doesn't get screwed again...They need this.

Problems for the #93 Viper, going off road at the end of the race, as well as the Evora. #3 Vette problems still plaque the team, as they finish dead last in GT, 31st overall (out of 32 total).

Scott Atherton, President and CEO, offered a sincere apology for a server crash that took the site offline just before the green flag. The site went back up about after an hour and a half has already passed.

The Vipers were faster than the Evora at least, but they run the most restricted engine and the most weight (1295kg compared to 1120kg for the Lotus, 1245kg Vette, 1200kg Porsche).

🤬
Blaze had built up a 50 second lead for me. Went to make the pit stop and driver swap. Ran into a glitch where the FFB pulls HARD to the left. Makes braking completely impossible and I stuff it into the wall leaving me with no front wheels and no way back to the pit.
Would have been an EASY win.
