Why of why does everything have to revolve around america?

It's a super power big deal, it threatens small countries a real big deal.

Do you know what the funny thing is back in '85 we denied one of your ghey ships to NZ because you wouldn't delcare if it was nuclear or not. - Then you went back home to your mommies and sulked :rolleyes:

Anyway why should God bless America why not Chad or Trinada and Tabbaco, I mean Tabago. - Why does everybody say god is on their side in a war - what would God say with these little children fighting over who god likes, what I reackon is he doesn't care, he loves everybody...so next time old Bushy Boy says God bless America he can bless the rest of the world while hes at it.

-It's only fare everybody is equal, well kind of, not really.


I think that the war on Iraq is pathetic and is somewhat necessary.
Yes, Iraq has weapons of mass destruction but, so does America. When was the last time Iraq used it's weapons - I seriously don't know thats why I writing all this bull****.
I reackon it's all for the oil, and secondly to show that America is the best nation in the world by defeating the all retarded Saddam.

As soon as the 9, 11 attacks happened everybody was so sympathetic towards America, but didn't anybody really get the full story about all the times America has gangbashed Middle East countries? - Way back, people can have grudges past down generations.

What is America going to do next?
Try and force us to stop showing love for each other in public.
Using Euphanisms, well...............


So what I'm saying is, why should we respect America because of how big and powrerful it is?

If you don't like the United States, that's fine, because it is your opinion. We need more people like you to have your voices heard. But, if you live in the US, then get the **** out if you hate your county so bad. We should be sending you to Iraq and not good soldiers.

Why would I want to be jealous of America? - Maybe of it's economic standings but everything else no.

I'd rather live in a smaller less aggressive country that everybody ignores.
 
You said everything revolves around America. Yes, most things do revolve around the US. Maybe because we're the only ones trying to do something in this world.

Everyone is just as messed up, not just the US.

If John Howard wasn't such a puppet, and asked the people before we went to war, i think that we wouldn't be there...and that money could've been going to drought affected areas in Australia.
 
Well he should've asked because he kept saying it was in our best interest of the people without even asking the people of Australia...he has to back up what he says, and in this case he didn't.

As I said before. I am really tierd of this anti-American crap. Do we go around and talk crap about your countries? Go ahead and feel however you want but don't post every jealous and inadequate feeling you have about your country and America. It's getting old.

We say God Bless America because that's where we live. Do you think that because we say it then it takes away blessings from other countries? Do you think God only listens to America so we should say God bless the world?

I said this before but I guess I'll have to say it again, Get a newspaper out and read it or surf the web to get informed. Half of you guys that run down America have no idea what you are talking about.(uninformed)

That said, I have to say something that a bunch of y'all ain't gonna like.
America does have weapons of mass destruction. We haven't used them since 1945.
Saddam has used them recently on his own people, whether it be to test them, or to rule thru terror. That is one of the main reasons that he is seen as a global threat. Any fool that will use that kind of weapon on his own people, will hardly hesitate to use them on others.

As far as the U.S. being the global "watchdog", Yeah that's kinda true. Smaller countries ASK us to jump in and "sock the bully". We do it, if it happens to also be in our best interests.

As to the ludicrous notion that we (Americans) think God is on only our side:
God is not the exclusive domain of the United States. However, Americans left Britain looking for adventure and RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS. That is why "In God we Trust" is such a big deal to us. We won't mind at all if you join us in Prayer. According to the Bible:

..."The same sun rises and sets on the righteous and the unrighteous...

and:

"God is not a respecter of persons"

also:

"The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man, availeth much."

Not righteous men from America only, just righteous men (people).

We don't go in "gang-bashing" anybody that hasn't tried to "bloody our nose" first. Just because Saddam, or Qaddafi is stupid enough to bring the "military might" of his, so called, country to bear on us, doesn't mean they aren't gonna get *****-slapped, just like a poodle that growls at a Rottweiler.

Men and women are dying every day to protect FREEDOM, from tyrants. Let's try to keep our eye on the ball.
Let's hit our "prayer closets" daily and pray for the wisdom of our leaders, a quick resolution to these times, and the safe return of as many soldiers as possible.

The country I live isn't perfect - did I hint that NZ was better than America, if you feel that that was the meaning of the connatation it was purely unintentional and not what I think.

The one thing I really meant was that Bush, and other presidents are not as mentally equiped as they should be and shouldn't be able to start a war without enough support from the UN.

Now nothing is going to be done about it because the US is such a 'superpower' and everybdoy else is powerless.

If the world were to vote on this matter would more people be in favour of the war?
 
ALPHA should have brought up the point that "The Lord Of The Rings" was/is filmed on location in his country.

As points made, what would have happened if Hitler would have had no force to step in and remove him from power? These are tough times and tough decisions that I know I do NOT want to make. I value life, not just mine, but everyones. I don't like war, and I especially don't like sheep being lead to the slaughter. These government officials have to make the decision that a small number of people will die in order for the majority to live. Show a little respect for these matters of which you know little about, and be thankful for the life you live, and the county that is not under Saddam's direction.
