I've seen that everyone seemed to forget that since I switched to GT class, an Audi R8 is available...
You're not here. Edit, you are.

Preseason is going to be Fuji this Friday.
I'd say run the version with a chicane. But if they don't use it for normal endurance races, don't.
You're not here. I know why though.
Tower Turn 13
I'm good with the Pug, I'd like to lock that down if possible.

However I might not make the preseason race, because I'll be watching the Long Beach qualifying session at 8pm EST US and I need to be on campus to use ESPN3.

You guys should watch as much of it as you can. The race is tomorrow.
You're not here.

We know why you're not.

Well, just to confirm, you can lock me up for GT class, racing a Ford GT.

Alright guys, make sure you confirm your cars to run for the Season so I can update the Driver Roster. Just say your car and class. If you want to run in a crew, give me the heads-up.

Also, whenever you make your selection i would like everyone to do me a favor and "share" your car at some point during the week before the race. I want to get a snapshot of your car to put in the standings video that ill be making each week. Just PM me when you share it and ill let you know when i have the snapshot of your car. Trust me, it will look cool :)

So how are guys feeling about the LMP Class line-up?

I think you'll have enough people.

Lock me in with the RUF. 👍

I go for LMP Audi R8 :sly:

Sorry about last night, wasn't feeling too hot. Before the race I had a buddy driving and I was spotting him so he wouldn't hit anyone. He was the one in the grassy areas before the race. Ready for next week!! RUF for me..

Round 1 is next week

If its not to late to change my class and car I would like to move to the LMP class in the GT one car

Yaaaay more LMP drivers.

Tell me about! 👍

@ Freshseth:

I'm going to put in a practice session Monday 5pm PST until god knows when if your on I would like to get to the bottom of this TCS drama?

An early 1:37 at Daytona and I know that isn't going to be competitive, but I applied Praiano's tune and wow what a difference in stability. I can feel there are definitely more seconds to be dropped. Someone want to give a competitive P1 time for me to run toward?

Daytona times are probably around 1:35 I'd say. Fuji is 1:30. JoeTruck, I use low LSD settings like 5/10/11 so I run 5 or 6 on the traction control setting. It helps me out a bit.

I don't get how LSD works, really. Intuitively, the higher numbers would help more, but it seems my rides are always more stable with lower settings. Weird how that works.

Glad to see I'm not incredibly far off the pace here, but that's probably because of all the straight accelerating.

That's because the tires is more planted to the ground if the settings are lower. The LSD acts as a "super tune", as I've discovered in the Tuning Forum, since the LSD has a more noticeable effect on handling than other settings.

It's basically like this- if you use 5 for initial torque the car responds better. Then the lower the acceleration settings it seems the quicker the car responds to throttle inputs.

LSD is a hell of a drug.

Lower settings work the best, but it depends on your driving style too. If you need more grip exiting a corner then turn the accel up some until you find the right amount. If the car is unstable during braking (back end coming around or squirrelly movement) then turn the brake up until its fixed. The initial torque just tells the LSD when to come into play, the higher the number the less throttle/brake it takes to activate.

Anyone watching Long Beach?

ESM is looking well. :D

DVRing it.
You're not allowed to speak of it.

You didn't have to click it. :p

I might be interested in the BMW M3. The Registry resembles my friend's list. Anyways, if there's room:

GTP: MrMelancholy15
PSN: MrMelancholy15
Class: GT
Car: BMW M3

EDIT** If no BMW slots, the Aston Martin, Evora or any other Front-engined car would be okay. (Yes, I know the Evora's MR)
