That reminds me, race distance is 250 KM. Probably a bit shorter for Monacote d'Azure. :lol:

And if one of the guys that does WRS (anyone?) wants to do that, we could throw a team of guys together to work out a strategy, get a set up, and practice with.
 
I was running the Evora at 1280kg since it's down on power (especially torque). Even if it makes more than 480hp when all broken in, it's at it's max. The other GT's can make a lot more power at their max, so even if their power is decreased to 480hp or whatever, they still make a lot more torque than the Evora does. IRL ALMS the Evora weighs around 40-50kg less than the other GTE cars, it's still slower. But it is a new car.
 
What times are the LMP's running at
Daytona?

By the way what rims are you using? I might use a black version of those as gold clashes with the red interior.

And I'm using the very last rim set from the choices the game gives you.

Those 5 spoke rims you're using if Im not wrong, will probably have mine in black,
 
My best lap was a 1:34.460. I'll test more.
 
My best lap so far is a 1'45.1, i cant imagine i can squeeze much more out of that. Its going to suck doing Daytona knowing that last time we ran here was before the lame update with the tires. I remember going 22 laps or so on one set of softs, now it looks like you can only go 9-10.
 
Yeah, LMP's are getting 8 or 9 laps on softs.

Those are the right times for your (our) class. I mean, I'm sure I could run 1:44.9 if I really ran like a maniac, but, it's not race pace.

Sure, mate. You'll be moved into the Active Drivers list once you've chosen your car.
 
Can i grab an R8?
 
I'm surprised we allow the R8 to run, considering its advantages. But if it's proven to be made equal, I have no qualms.

You guys also know we have like 17 people on the active list right? Doesn't it stop at 16?

Looks like I'll probably only be part time anyways. Going to be out quite a few Fridays doing real racing. Only advantage of that is that I get to miss a couple days of school also. :D
Im guessing a few of people will just not show up as well.
So no worries about us being too full.
 
You doing any SKUSA or WKA races? SKUSA Spring Nats are at my track this weekend.

Its good to let it load up pass 16 drivers, because when it comes down to race day somehow there's still not a full grid. I've witness 24 driver sign up list and still didn't have 16 active drivers at the wave of the green flag'
 
If that ever does happen, I would have to run two sessions. The 1st session would contain the 1st 16 drivers, while the 2nd session contains the rest. Then both sessions would be combined and moved around a bit to distribute points fairly.

You couldnt do 2 sessions, how do you combine the two? It might be the same track but its not the same conditions and with the LMP's finishing several laps ahead of GT cars you will never get correct finishing times.

I thought last year it was more like, if you're the 17th person to sign up and the first 16 people show then you're not racing?
