I got down to the 2:00 mark. But that was with no tire or fuel wear. :(

Yeah i bet you were excited too until you realized it was off lol. We seem to be on similar pace though, lets keep it that way and the Vettes will be tough to beat.

1:50's and lower should be good for LMP.

Thanks, to be honest im no better a driver than some of the other guys in this series. About half way through last season i had a complete melt down at Monza and it ticked me off enough to finally learn how to tune a car. Since then things have been much better, plus ive had a lot of time to figure my car out.
 
Is it too late to join this series? I see it looks pretty full. Maybe a reserve driver?

No not too late, we are 2 races into the season though. All the info you requested is on the main page, but ill tell you anyway. We race on Friday's 9pm EST, because the active list is full we can place you on the reserve list but this does not mean you wont race. Last race we had 4 spots still open in the field, so chances are you'll be able to get in and still accumulate points.

What class do you want to drive? GT class is kinda crowded at the moment, lot of spots open for LMP.

Naturally you may join us... We also missed you from the Rolex series. We also invited you to run in that, but, you never got back to any of us. Could you please be sure to keep up-to-date about the stuff in both forums? You were specifically welcomed there and here, and we'd love to have you, so, please DO take part. There's always room for one more.
 
So pissed off about last night. Right as the race starts my mother in law starts asking me about facebook and how to fix it. She see's me driving and asks "are you playing that game right now?". Then keeps telling me about her problem with it. Eventually I crashed. Turns out she had the screen minimized!!! Wanted to backhand her so bad.
 
Hahaha, I feel your pain there! And that question would have been a "well no ****ing ****, sherlock!" moment in my eyes.

Thing is, its annoying playing games when someone who hasn't got any idea how much concentration and effort it takes decides to talk about something or gets impatient when you aren't doing what they've asked you to do right away.

If it's anything to do with washing or dinner, my parents get pissed beyond belief if I don't DROP EVERYTHING MID-GAME. Not only that, they know I play online, they know I can't pause it when I'm playing online, yet they still say... "but you can pause it right?" No, no I ****ing can't.

Yeah ive had a few races last season where my buddies were playing MW3 in the same room as me. So hard to concentrate on your driving when all you hear is "hes over there dude!", "im on your six", "OOOOHHHHHH **** me!", "DAMMIT".

I had a Skype call with a few of my friends last week, one of them joined GTP recently (anirishnirvana), while the other two don't play GT5 or care much for it. It was the early stages of a Rolex Series race at Monza last week, and me and my friend were talking about the race and tyre wear, his lack of consistency and whatnot. Well, the conversation was distracting, because it was so darn funny to hear us mocking nirv. One comment set my eyes streaming, "Yeah, you'll hear tank (nirvana) say: oh I got this, one more lap on these tyres should be ok. Oh look there's a corne-NOOOOOOOOOO GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP AHHHHHH!"

Needless to say, I had to end the call. How I never managed nose-deep in the first chicane's barriers is beyond me.
 
I'll be there too, though I'm worried about what time it'll finish and how stupidly tired I'll be by the end.
 
I may be a little bit late, might miss qualifying.
Should be there by 9:30.

lol forgot to change that, it was meant for my portuguese buddies.

I do know that speed in a connection is nothing without it being stable, but that being said, can't complain about mine.
