It looks like you guys are having loads of fun here. Quick update. I am still not back as I am still waiting on that tool I need, so I'll keep you guys posted. Also I just wanted to share this:

Pace Car fail in iRacing: Looks like the Pace Car decided to retire early.

It was a screen capture I took of a broadcast on Youtube. It was so hilarious that I had to.

I won't make it on Friday, I'm taking my woman to Knott's Berry farm that night. See you guys for the next round'

Anyone gonna be on tonight? I have to let bob put miles on the vette. But if someone is praticing I'll do that instead. :)

I want to practice a little, given the fact that I still haven't done so.

Sorry yeratel. Something came up and had to leave all of a sudden. I was there to see that 1:47 though :scared:

Calm down, that time was done after a 10 lap stint, on fresh rubber.

Ford at Monza?

Ford won Monza last season, i believe. And im still trying to forget my pathetic performance from last season on this track :yuck: Any time you successfully slam an opponent into the chicane, crash yourself into a braking distance sign (they dont move, i found out the hard way), miss time your pit strategy leaving you on nearly bald tires the last 2 laps while being passed by the field and then finally taking out 2 cars in the final turn because i had no tires left :boggled: yeah it was a bad night for me

Right. You make me regret missing last season... that sounds interesting... hahaha.... ?

Oh, I thought you left the room and came back. So fresh fuel also right? But then again it did say you were on track when you were in your settings menu.

By the way, i need to start at 9pm EST sharp, 5 minutes over and i forfeit.

My best with full tank was 1:47.9XX
I did 1:47.6XX after I pitted but didn't refuel. I had about 2/3 fuel on tank.

How many laps were you managing on a set of tires? I think I can squeak out 10 if no one is pressuring me.

Same here, but right now its kinda dangerous because the rear left is at the very limit of grip.
If I have some free time before the race, I'll see if I can solve that, if not, just run 9 lap stints to be safe.

Seca qualifying is around the time of our race and will end around 8:45pm. Is there a way we can push back the race a little so those of us watching this have time to get in the room? I probably wouldn't be home from campus until after 9pm, probably closer to 9:30.

Well we've got one member who cant start after 9 and others who usually dont show up until almost 930. I guess we'll never start a race on time :ouch:

Sorry I figured most of us would be watching this qualifying session, or at least part of it. It's up to you guys but it is an ALMS race after all :)

Dvr? Something seems to always happen when we try to get going. Id be surprised if everything went as planned tonight.

To my knowledge we never start at 9pm, even though thats when we're supposed to. Ill be here around 8:30 or so for warm ups, off to school now. Catch you guys later

Actually, FH, you just reminded me--ESPN3 has the ability to replay events. Duh! :dunce:

Not sure why I didn't think of that.

yeah same goes for me in the viper, but my lap times are not in the 47s my best is in the 49s.

Dont worry about lap times. 48's and 50's are going to be normal here.

And 37's should be normal for the lmps.

I'm opening a lobby for final practice, if anyone's interested join in...

Okay, then i can't make the race. But you have enough backup to make a full grid anyway.

Pretty much going to stay open till the race? Im almost home but I have a few things to take care of first.

BMW's have been quiet lately. I think they have something up their sleeves. :scared:

PAWEL, I'll be early today with Storm & Kevin, because Rolex practice ends sooner...

Actually I'm here with Sinladar, but haven't been running because I was having dinner.
Just decided to keep it open.
