Im starting to wonder if ill make this race, im gonna go meet someone at 7:30 and i have no clue how long ill be there. Im hoping ill make it in time, even if its a lil past 9:00.
 
Okay, Storm and I should make it. I fibbed a little, and told him that the qualifying starts at 8 EST. My bad... Oh well, no harm no foul. That's how it's spelled, not "fowl" like I almost said... "Ich bin zu faul, um Englisch zu lernen!"

Stupid me again, switching to different tyres mid-race and then not pitting when my teammate pitted and I had low tyres. Although, I was seconds away from reclaiming my third place back from you, mister melons! Shame about there being barriers really, haha!

Nah, even with 542 bhp, I reckon I ran a pretty good race, and fended off TG2 pretty well first number of laps. A sweet little overtake on TG2 right at the beginning put me into second right off the bat, and I'll admit that maybe I should've run 590 bhp, if not for the fact that in-race I saw no real difference in the tyres and trying to catch Yera was a pain.

Anyone notice the race end countdown timer was much less than normal? I just realised that just now. I'm actually a bit miffed about that, since I was literally set to pass Melancholy somewhere near the Swimming pool and La Rascasse, or even on the start/finish straight. I was like, "2mins? Normally about 3 or- OH DANG I NEED TO CATCH MELANCHOLY!!!!"

Congrats to TG2. Not an easy track to win on. Was it an easy win or was it a fight to the end?
 
I'm still on the reserve list,and so is Sin, LMAO!!! There's only like, one/two more people other than us?

Actually there were seven at the finish, with Cowboy being a DNS. He was in qualifying but left before the start.

As for TG2, his race from my point of view was spotless. We both had same pace, but unfortunately I had the first pit position and therefore always lost ~3 seconds to every single driver each time I pit.

Still, kudos for him. 👍

If someone could give me the replay, or at least the full finishing order that would be great. I need a list of DNF's and which lap they left also (if there were any). Im bummed i couldnt catch the race, i knew i had a great car but congrats TG2! Hopefully ill be able to race next week, i love Seca.

Check MrMelancholy15's post in this page, it has the correct order.

We didn't have ant DNFs, only a DNS, who ran the qualifying but left before the start.
 
Yeah, Kevin and I really decided not to show to let the rest of the of the other teams catch up in points. :sly:

Im headed back home right now. Anyone gonna practice later for Laguna? I wanna see if I can tune an LMP. Most likely making the jump next season.

I always practice in my private lobby. But I'm thinking about doing it in public lobbys. Hopefully some randoms will come in and we can recruit. Maybe throw GTP in the title somewhere to attract the more serious racers.

Sorry mate, I slowed down, and was almost going to do some serious donuts to celebrate my first podium in the series, but, you were catching up, so I hammered the throttle when I saw you piling into the safety barrier. I agree that the race timer should be settled; let it be 10 seconds, or the full three minutes... Please?
 
Full three minutes should have been used. Thats what its been since day one. If you asked TG2, he would have wanted at least an extra 10 seconds at Indy. :wink:

Yeah. So, seeing the incredible demand of two people plus a traditional value, 3 minutes, Seth... Please, 180 second end timer. I could've held Storm off for another 45 seconds...
 
I was asked to host, so I didn't know all the rules about all that. Would it have made a difference at that track? If I host again I'll put the timer all the way up. Would like to see the points standings though.

MrM. how many series are you running in? I'm thinking about joining another one so I've been browsing other threads. Your in like, all of em. :lol: Any good ones that need another driver? Preferably on the weekends.

I'm in every series that my friends want me to join, and the one I'm organizing.

And, IndyCar?? There goes GTP's validity... lol, jk.

If you really want a fun series, there are some Rolex races left, and we (Storm, Kevin and I) would love to see you there. There's a Ferrari 458, a couple DP (LMP @ 575 hp) spots, and we wouldn't be TOO strict about denying you access to the Chevy ZO6 C6...

If not, the WGTC and my ITCC are both seeming to be REALLY close, good fun.

And, if none of those work, the Continental Series is tuning and such.

Alright since there were no DNF's that makes it easier, but who got the poles? Ive been busy all weekend and havent had time for GT. Ill get the standings up probably later on, sad not to have a Corvette on the podium for the first time, but thats what happens when you're not on the starting grid!
 
Truth in 24 ll: Every Second Counts is coming on at 1 today on speed. :). The first one was awesome. Dont know how long this one has been out but I cant wait to watch it!
