Whats your plan? Mine is to finish as high as possible lol. Nothing complicated about that.

Flyin get those pics up already! BTW i was able to shave about .3-.4 tenths off my lap times today. Really hope you can race this week, it should be a lot of fun.

I'm not telling you, after that Fast and the Furious stunt. Otherwise, slightly off-topic, but, I've... spent time with (?) with my ex-gf while watching the Fast and the Furious. Intimacy... (?) and the Fast and the Furious make an interesting mix. :dunce:

Damn Kevin! I dont know what else to do to make the car faster. I'll have to.take the pics tomorrow. Didnt have time tonight. Got home late (13 hour work day :() and wanted to spend time with my girls instead. For sure tomorrow though.

Well it might have just been a great lap, i havent drastically changed my setup. I softened the rear a bit, took a little camber off and adjusted the LSD to lower settings. My goal is to run 10 laps like we did, but without getting so loose at the end like i was in the final turns.

I think I can run 11 laps, but that 11th lap will be really slow. Should get better as the race goes on and I shed some fuel weight. Good to know I have that one lap in my back pocket if I need it though.

I really want to get online tonight. But work dictates everything right now.

I can feel it Gatrs. This is the update where Kaz has finally listened and fixed all online connectivity issues...

Oh my. They fixed FFB on the G27. Awesome news for me. I have mine cranked all the way to 10 and it felt way to weak. Now I cant wait to go home and try it. :)

Yeah they keep claiming the FFB is fixed but i never notice a difference. Ill try it out later on, although i did notice the sound of the ZR1 was a bit different with cockpit view... i think i could hear more of the exhaust and less whining from the engine but it could just be me.

You have the supercharger on yours? I rather hear that whine instead. :)

:insert fry meme:

Not sure if whine or straight cut gears.

ZR1 already has a supercharger, so you'll hear it regardless. I can still hear it, it just sounds less pronounced inside the car think. I dunno, im about to do some practice so if anyone wants to join me.

Ill be joining you soon Kevin. I need to finish my tuning on the Viper.

Just hopped off, gotta go to school now. I was freaking out because my best lap was a 1'23.1, but then i remembered i just changed the oil and HP was 498 lol. I really thought i was legit there for a minute. In any case i might be buying a new ZR1 because every race ive been in the HP drops to 471 by race end regardless of engine rebuild or oil change.

Question, and it involves the Viper ACR. Would 465bhp and 1280kg be faster than 480 bhp and 1300kg, or would it be the same? Imagining it has the same tuning set up and everything. Only I ran laps in the American Championship on A-Spec in the ACR today for kicks.

I ran a 1:24.1 around Laguna with the less weight/bhp format, but I'm guessing that you'd have similar times in the 480bhp & 1300kg setup, maybe a bit slower including tyre wear.

Tire wear online vs offline is different. For some reason we have more grip offline. So, of course the times would be faster.

I'm usually faster online than off. I always go to the practice portion of the game and set grip reduction/off track to real.

There are some benefits to pracicing offline. I never tune offline. But I do race against my ghost. Helps me see how late I can brake into corners and how soon I can get on throttle.

I did a 1:24.7 in my lounge @ 480/1300. Ill try your specs and see what I come up with.

Thats a good time Sin. Not to far from what I was getting. Good to see your getting faster as the season goes on. 👍

Ty FH. Unfortunatly Ive only been able to get low 25s since. Must have ran a perfect lap when I did that 24.7.

As I said though Sin, it was on an A-Spec race so grip was probably better and of course you have to consider there was no tyre wear. That said, I done a lap online and offline for elsewhere in a different car WITH tyre wear on and was faster online... so... I could throw you my ACR's suspension and transmission sets if it helps. I was running 10/25 on the downforce too, I think any more than 30 would just make the car understeer too much into corners.

I've been on Laguna in my BMW, and surprisingly to me my best time so far is a 1:23.668. I reckon I'll have to go for the safe mid 24's though, just so I'm not bunging off every three laps coz I've pushed too hard.

Are people really getting faster times online vs offline? I've always ran faster when I was offline. Felt like I had more grip there. I dunno, maybe PD changed something in the updates? I dont really race A-Spec anymore besides the seasonals. Even those have been uninspiring for me.

I race the Seasonals for the money aspect of it, although the created track one for this week was annoying. In a 390 PP Mitsubishi FTO GPX 94', trying to fight from the back, yeah it was a struggle I'd even added transmission and suspension upgrades.

As for the faster online vs. offline... I'm not really sure myself. I'm guessing it shouldn't be better online, realistically, I just putting it down to pretty good connection of the host, or just performing better that time around and it just so happening to be online.

Did some practice tonight with Sin, very encouraging session. Ill be off school kinda early because its the end of the course test so i could even host if need be. Hope everyone shows up, would be nice to have a big field again.

Edit: It looks like we're at about 70 laps for the race, but maybe everyone is in favor of shortening this one too like we did for Monaco?

Hit 1:25.067 in the Ford.

What was the length last season?

Ok tested viper @ 465hp/1280kg lap times were the same for me 25s but I was able to get 11 laps on softs. @ 480hp/1300 I only got 10 laps on softs.

I just got into my ZR-1 RM today after not driving it for a while. It was such a nice surprise to finally hear it making a more proper engine sound than before. It still needs work, but at least it doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner anymore. lol

Back on topic, I am still uncertain as to which cars are still available for each class. So I am still not sure which class to run in, let alone which car.
