I wouldnt mind an hour and a half race. 50 laps puts us a little over an hour. Even shorter for the guys in LMP.

Ah, well we did 50 last season. I wouldnt mind if we went longer, guess it depends on what everyone wants.
 
Ill race whatever length. Ill probably stay on really late tonight. Got excited when I saw that Spa was the next track. Gonna wanna test on that tonight. :)
 
Spa is a non points race is it not? Kind of like an all star race if you will? Im sure not everyone has it, just wondering. But yeah after this race we've reached the halfway point in the season.

I say we stick to the formula of 250km total distance. Which means 70 laps tonight.

Monaco was an exception to that rule.

That would put the LMP times at almost an hour and a half, so 70+1 then?
 
I thought we always did 150.

I think we'll average 1:17 per lap in LMP, and can go about 9 laps on softs. So doing the math, without pit stops would be around 92 minutes including the slow pace lap. Throw in pit stops and were pushing an extra 30-40 seconds per stop. With the way the tire wear is, a minimum of 7 stops would have to be included. So add the time from that and it comes out to be around 96-100 minutes, which would put it around an hour and 40 minutes. I think we should do 64+1 or 65+1, which would put the time around an hour and a half almost exactly. And it'd put the distance of the race around 235km.
 
We should have prizes for each class for the all star race. Gold Chrome edition of the winners car. LMP will have to think of something else. Maybe send over a gold paint chip?

I'd like a chrome paint. Just plain chrome, not the GT version or Gold. Just the one awarded to you for having a certain amount of cars in the garage.

I know I just wanted to see if you guys would wait for me. 55% done, 15 minutes to finish downloading. I'll be going into this race with 0% practice, but at least I could be there...
 
Never mind, guys. This is not working out. Of course it isn't. Just go ahead and race. GTPlanet is lucky it doesn't allow swearing right now.
 
Got disconnected because sometimes when i run straight to the modem i get intermittent disconnects. Its never happened during a race until now though, but had i stayed on the router id still be driving. Storm has some connection issues with people sometimes though, i wish i didnt have to switch. Someone post the standings and ill get to it Tuesday, going home for the weekend.

I've come off it too. Got ploughed by what seemed to be thin air. Took me and Sin off in one fell swoop.

Sorry to those I couldn't see on the track, I don't understand it. Usually there's a loading screen if I can't see someone on track, but only that Blaze guy was showing up like that, the rest of you were normal, it just didn't look like you'd entered the track (blue border thingy... you'll understand what I mean) . I thought it was just a case of you needing to enter the track, but I guess not.

It didn't help that Seth decided to punt me off the road trying to take the apex into Turn 11, even though I was already at the corner. Thanks Seth, I had noticed you and if you had stuck behind me I would have let you through on the straight, but you had no right to dive into the corner so quickly, since I was there first. Impatient git, I was running a race too you know.

Make sure someone looks at that on the replay once your done. I'm not happy about that. About lap 9 or 10 I think it was.

🤬 2nd night in a row my modem disconnects for no reason...

As for the mix-up with qualifying, there was no info from the host that qualifying was live. Otherwise, I wouldn't be doing long runs to test the tires.

As for the race, Cowboy you need to calm down and not ram everyone ahead of you as you try to get to the front in the 1st lap.

Also, please someone check the replay, as I'm pretty sure MrMelancholy15 jumped the gun at the start, given the fact that he was beside me right after the start/finish line, and he started 5th and I started 3rd.

Just to finish, we need to do proper procedures, because as of right now, every week we do something different (finishing timer, track reset, etc...).
