It's still a good car. I like LMP so I'll probably stay there. Use the Bentley, but if there's GT only races the 8C sounds good to use.

I kinda like LMP but sometimes the speed can be a bit too excessive for me. But unfortunately, I can't switch classes 'till next season.

I'd rather leave everything as-is, unless you meant to adjust the transmission. Besides, I'm starting to prefer GT class a bit more. But it could be for personalization reasons..

no it's tomorrow night so more people will show up, unless it's better for everyone to do it tonight. However I will be rescreening my porch at some point so need to know ahead of time (god I'm an old person). It's 787Bs stock.

It'd be broken in somewhat.

Those damn rear engine Beetles....had this moment in the Nurburgring 4 hour on the first lap...(reminds me of some online races :dunce:)

And @ Rocko that is so COOL my friend has a Mustang, Porsche, and an Audi R8 but I don't know if he made that though, and I sort of wanna get LBP 2, but then there's MW3 and BF3 :p
 
Yeah I'll just say we should limit the 787s to dealership hp/weight so people are somewhat equal.
 
It's funny at the end of the Dottinger Hohe (sp?) where it just fishtails it's way thru the corners and if its tyres are gone enough it'll just spin out constantly, quite a funny car to watch the old school Beetle :dopey:

What a coincidence as I did it in a 787B as well. But doing it only adds ~311 miles, and mines has around 980 miles, so I'm not sure how the rest got there.

By the way, is anyone having problems finding a good braking point on the corners of Daytona Road Course? I'm having a bit of problems regarding that..

I was getting frustrated on the first one and on my flying laps mostly too :( it seems I can brake late and turn hard on the backstretch
 
I don't like that first corner of Daytona at all....such a PITA to get right in certain cars. Stuff it up with the McLaren and the fronts just lock up and its understeer city right into the barrier :grumpy:

Same thing is happening to me, too. I tried getting it right in the 787B but I just end up having the back end stick out mid-corner. It'll probably do the same in a LMP :grumpy:

Why not, we choose a brand to represent (Audi, BMW, Ford, etc) and build our own car to a regulation of say 2.5kg per hp (1300kg=520hp) and just go at it? It's pretty much a rough version of GT3 but it'd allow alot more freedom in the cars being run. Keep the 2 cars per model rule and run wild with it pretty much. Thoughts?

I was playing for hours on LBP2 today, sorry for not joining but I had to connect this XOR switch to a toggle on a microchip connecting to a danger tweaker through a controllinator, and yes it's just as complicated as it sounds.
Also I hate it when people dismiss it as a "kiddie game" because they obviously never played it :mad:

Mitch, these are very good ideas you have.
They'd be excellent ideas for new series, but this is based off of the ALMS.
If we go by some of those ideas, it will only thing ALMS about it would be the points system.
