I spent 8.54 on that game today:
Toy Story Level Pack; 4.99
Buzz Lightyear costume; 1.99
Bulldog costume; 0.99
All that with tax was around 8.54 so yes I spend too much time on this game
 
Here's the list (minus that damn Alfa, give me the min weight and downforce and I'll chuck it on) with the HP added using a 2kg per hp rule.

GM Corvette ZR1 - 1221kg/611hp - 0/20
Ferrari F458 - 1232kg/616hp - 10/40
Ford GT - 1203kg/602hp - 0/40
Dodge Viper ACR - 1257kg/629hp - 10/40
Lotus Esprit V8 - 1144kg/572hp - 0/20
Audi R8 4.2 - 1264kg/632hp - 10/40
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 - 1169kg/585hp - 0/20
McLaren F1 - 970kg/485hp - 20/65
Nissan R390 - 1062kg/531hp - 35/80
Jaguar XJ220 - 1362kg/681hp - 20/65

Pretty basic and results in a broad spread of power ranges across alot of different cars. Thinking about this I came up with a pretty simple formula that goes something like this:

weight / 2 = hp - (total downforce as a single digit percentage)

So for example the Viper ACR:
1257 / 2 = 628.5 - 5% = 597hp

GM Corvette ZR1 - 1221kg/599hp - 0/20
Ferrari F458 - 1232kg/585hp - 10/40
Ford GT - 1203kg/578hp - 0/40
Dodge Viper ACR - 1257kg/597hp - 10/40
Lotus Esprit V8 - 1144kg/561hp - 0/20
Audi R8 4.2 - 1264kg/600hp - 10/40
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 - 1169kg/573hp - 0/20
McLaren F1 - 970kg/444hp - 20/65
Nissan R390 - 1062kg/470hp - 35/80
Jaguar XJ220 - 1362kg/623hp - 20/65

Now that's not exactly a huge amount less but it factors in both weight and downforce to a certain degree. If there's a better formula out there I'm all ears, I'll continue to work on this one though.
 
It seems like there's something missing in that car list but I don't know what... Also next year I'm looking forward to the XJ220 also IMO the McLaren should stay
 
Well it's not an official list Rocko, it's even less likely to be a backup list if things stay as they are...

Cars that could be added:

Ruf RGT
Saleen S7
Alfa 8C (err...)

The first 2 would be the biggest winners with that formula as they have no downforce so would easily make some impressive hp.
 
I'll see what can be done with the 8C. I'm positive theres no front downforce.
 
Sorry guys but i might not make todays race because i dropped gt5 into a crack in the molding of my wall so if i cant get it out i wont be on

Same thing is happening to me, too. I tried getting it right in the 787B but I just end up having the back end stick out mid-corner. It'll probably do the same in a LMP :grumpy:

Try adjusting the rear sway bar. A higher amount helped me with the car stepping out in the center of that corner with the Peugot 908 HDI. It still wants to kick out if I am too aggressive on the throttle but it did help.
 
I have an idea for an end of the season All-Star Race, say the top number guys in each class participate in a one make race, like Corvette ZR1 RMs on Daytona International Speedway? Like the old Iroc races?

Edit: Also we should start a list of who's gonna be here for tonight's race?

I completely forgot today is race day, but it's not looking like I'll make it. The end of summer has gotten really busy, but it's only a couple more weeks before I'll be back at college and looking for some racing. (I'll have decent internet then too)
 
I would like to become a reserve driver for this championship, I have many different cars from each class but could someone tell me what time it is now in EDT?

It'll be about 5:30. The race lobby opens at 8, qualys at 8:30, and the actual race at 9. ALMS races usually lasts for 200km, or for +1 hours.
 
So I can't participate :( sorry guys, will be too late here

It helped a bit in the GT-One, but gonna have to try on the 787B later.

1:34.361 in a one lap test with the 787B, quite fun that car with all the downforce. Corners I'd slow down for in the McLaren I just keep pinned in the 787B.
