High Downforce Cars
McLaren F1 - 970kg - 20/65 - RM

Jaguar XJ220 - 1362kg - 20/65 - RS

I'm thinking keep the minimum weights listed and just use tyres and power limits (over 500hp atleast) to even the field out. Thoughts?

It's just a proposed car list for Season 3, not a whole other series. Pretty much thinking out loud...

The idea is to pretty much can anything over 1300kg (cept the XJ220 thanks to its downforce) and drop the weight as much as possible. Keeping cars over 500hp and just using HP and tyre limits it should take more time to even cars out but IMO it'd be a whole lot more fun.

Interesting list. For ALMS I of course love love love the iconic XJ220 (one of my fav cars of all time), but I might be going Ford GT next season for livery reasons.

TT13 makes all car decisions based on livery lol ;)

BTW could someone kindly send me a silver chrome paint chip? I don't know what to give in return but I have some suits and helmets I can unload.

Yeah actually I was thinking one FGT with chrome body/yellow wheels and another with chrome body/red wheels.

I think it would be kind of fun to mimic real teams but I might be the only one...

And I've sent the Orange/Silver FGT, would appear I sold the Orange/black one (was trying to get an all over orange...).

Skipped the ALFA 8C! There's good potential with that car! Better than the 4WD Gallardo to even things out. And how about the Viper? There's good cars I can see competing in addition to your list.

I got a chrome chip. I don't really need it for anything..

Didn't think about the 8C either.
 
How about the non ACR Viper? It lacks front downforce but could be competitive. Same with 430 Scuderia.
 
Not sure it's really worth putting in when the ACR Viper has the downforce advantage. The 430 Scud was scuttled since the 458 is there.

Forgot to mention, TT13 you're going to need to break in that FGT I sent...

458 isn't as easy to me as 430 Scuderia, don't teams use it still anyway? How about the big Lambo's? If you're including the Gallardo? Just thoughts of mine.
 
Murcielago is in GT1 so I dunno, the R390, XJ220 and F1 were all GT1 cars (same with the Viper (previous iteration) and maybe one or two others so I dunno. The option could be there to use it I guess.

And I haven't seen the 430 in competition this year in the GTE ranks, however there was one running around at the Spa 24 Hours.
 
It's still a good car. I like LMP so I'll probably stay there. Use the Bentley, but if there's GT only races the 8C sounds good to use.
