I will say this race was seriously flawed americanflyer, I'm also very sorry about the turn where I hit you my tires were colored red and I lost control :( none the less it was completely my fault and I assume all responsibility for the wreak

I agree it was fun racing with you. However, I wish that idiots like Sparty would not be allowed to race. I admit that I ran into the back of a couple GT cars including Klassy due to poor judgement on the closing rate but when a guy turns right to run you into the wall (Sparty) he should not be behind the wheel of any car.

I have race with a lot of other guys online and had no problems. I will probably give this series one more shot but if it is anything like this Daytona race I am out.

Yup, bumped me and Cowboys in one lap, top shelf skills there. I agree sparty can be a pain sometimes....

I'm going to say it simply, Cowboys you cost me a win...I've got a video of the start coming (with the biff between me and Klassy) and will have the last lap in its entirety to show exactly what happened between myself and you.

To be fair I've had plenty of clean battles with Sparty before. Don't know how much the room or lag had to do with all the spinning. I watched more than a few cars disappear and reappear in front of me.

Not saying people didn't make mistakes but this race was especially full of contact.

You are right. You were the other GT car that I hit but I did not try to knock you out of my way. I misjudged the closing rate majorily. When I hit you I let you gather your car up and we continued. I never hit Cowboys during the race so I am not sure what the H*&L you are talking about. In practice you are right once again. My problem with Sparty is that the guy drove down on me coming out of Daytona two and cut me off when I was chasing for position. I guess he was not satisfied with that so when we got to the chicane he turn the car right and drove me into the barrier. Nice guy that Sparty. Now if that was lag then excuse me...........but I am pretty sure he was not lagging at that point.
 
I was talking about practice sorry. In the race I got rear ended by that jakegirard guy...

That's pretty bloody bad tho from Sparty...worst I've had to deal with with him was him blocking me at La Sarthe earlier in the season then him trundling along a high speed corner causing me to spin when I came upon him.

Guys seriously, if you're a GT car you are allowed to hold your line (racing line) but don't race the LMP's or drive them off the track...

Lol, I dunno why but yes, my webcam decided to capture that mirrored....

It's not my TV, it's the webcam. It's totally normal to look at but the webcam picks up the 'flicker' we as humans don't see as I guess our 'frame rate' is alot more stable than a cameras.

Cowboys blocking....

It's not that that's the problem, people make mistakes, it's the rolling back when people are coming towards you that was (essentially cut that guy(who? that guy!) off). If you'd stayed still or gotten off the racing line (drive forward more and turn left) then there'd be nothing to discuss as the chances of being hit would've been minimal.
 
You didnt see him hit reverse? If I hit a wall etc. I stay still! Not reverse..
 
Do you use a wheel? Looks like it from the brakes being slightly on then full application. Not much you could've done there....was your brother driving again Sparty?
 
No but he was bothering me the whole race :grumpy: and there's not many ways to turn around with a wheel :indiff:

No point penalizing Rocko for anything as he finished last anyway (unless not so classy kid did) but I'm pretty keen for action to be taken against cowboys for that last lap and a bit...where's gogatrs?

I'm seriously hoping you watched the video...

You did contact me coming onto the straight before the bus stop, bumped me in the back going into the bus stop, then proceeded to block me again right before the timer ran out. Quite frankly that's just a BS way to act (the last bit I'm talking about).

You were roughing me around and hopped in front of me, either that or I would end up in the grass

I wasn't 'roughing you' around at all, we made contact as I passed but did you want to acknowledge the fact you blocked me when I was going around the high side of the banking? That's why I ducked down to the bottom of the banking to try and get past, then you drove straight into the side of my car. Even if I did give you nudges what you were doing was totally uncalled for.
 
I see nothing wrong with what Cowboys did in the video you posted. Going into the bus stop, he may of touched you, but you never touched the brakes so you just carried to much speed into the 2nd corner. And block at the last minute, even if he intentionally did it (doesn't look like it) its not an infraction. You tried a desperate move and failed.

As for 'blocking' on the bank, moving up a lane with still 2 lanes clear on the high side isn't blocking really. You had Plenty of room to continue on the high side.
 
We've allll hit AND been hit. So where all even lol.
 
So him weaving across the road (obviously not holding any sort of line) isn't blocking? I've just learnt something that's changed my perception of racing completely, guess I should make it known to everyone that from now on all lines are my line, don't ever expect to get past.
