No problem ;) And I'll be looking forward in what you'll get.

How about the Renault S Turbo Rally Car '85

Edit: Also will the league be running time trials or racing? Because in racing it's impossible to see in front of you because it's shooting snow in your face

Pretty good question. But I think some cameras can go beyond the gravel and dirt.

I think racing would be more fun than time trials but not exactly sure how they used to do it. Check this from wikipedia:

Weight was kept as low as possible, high-tech materials were permitted, and there were no restrictions on boost, which turned out to mean almost unlimited power.

:D

^^

I think in real life, they do things like "stages", where the drivers are filed up before the finish line (their positions is according to time trials, position on previous race, or amount of championship pts), and the 1st driver starts off, and then the rest starts off by 3-5 second intervals, probably longer. I learned this from Dirt 2, but I don't have the game anymore, so I'm not sure if this is entirely right.

Yeah we could mimic rally in a-spec mode which is pretty much what you describe.

Yeah was about to say that too...pretty much how it works IRL anyway.

I might have to give this a whirl, maybe R32 GTR or something....:dopey:

I think that config is mostly used on point-to-point rallying, but I think it also applies on multi-lap rallying, too. We can also mimic Special Stage rallying.

Can point to point tracks be created with the Track Creator?

No.

And regarding the issue with cowboys, no penalties will be inflicted.
That blocking was not excessive, and it was not necessarily blocking either.
That was a VERY gentle tap he gave you, but it also doesn't look like you broke enough.
But let's drop this and move on now please.

/\ Ridiculous, but whatever.

TT13, would the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione '91 be allowed? (damn that's a long name haha).

I'm really trying to stick to the 80s group b cars as much as possible, not so much newer cars. I guess it's not too far off the mark, though. We'll see. Probably want to widen the car choice a bit anyway.

If I can even drive one offroad....argh...

My wheel feels like it's broken offroad

But in GT5 there's no "danger", you miss a corner and hit the wall, only to start driving again

Just blocked the fun in this idea :dopey:

Tower Turn 13
Gotta ruin everything, huh ;)

In DiRT 3 when you mess up I think it's less forgiving than GT5

Yeah but it'll still kill your time.

And I think I'd like to maybe do full damage or something to make it worth while.

But anyhow bring it up in the new social group cowboys :)

I think a missing wheel will hurt you more than a bump to the wall ;)

Just thought I'd share a couple of pics from testing earlier.

Same corner, same moment, just 2 different angles with one being a bit more artsy than the other.

^^

Nice pics, bro 👍 I'll probably do the same with the Ford & DB9. But the 2nd one looks a bit out-of-focus, unless you're aiming towards a different perspective.

What times you getting :) I got a 2.04:7xx

In the DB9? 2:00:8xx, and a 2:02 in the Ford. I was hoping for a sub-2:00 on both, though.

You like the new avatar?

Can't really tell what it is, can you post a bigger pic? Assuming by the whale part it has to do with porsche spoilers, am I correct?

The car in the pic is a Porsche 935 nicknamed "Moby Dick."
The spoiler is known as a whale tail, it's designed to get more air to the engine without losing downforce. This type of spoiler has been nicknamed a whale tail.
Mitch will get it...
