Guys, was everything even?
Any complaints?
I thought that the F430 was a tiny bit faster on the straights than the rest of it's class.
Does anyone think that the F430s are too fast?
They're at 350 HP I dunno how we make them any slower without effing up the handling.
Anyone wanna switch classes with me? :p

And can someone post the final results?
I seem to have forgotten. :(

Was a good race, was fun weaving through the traffic. Cant wait for the next race.

The BMW is a bit of a handful imo, always tail happy. On top of Leguna imo not having the most grip, makes it deadly. If you have the high range turbo, remove it, it helped with the power oversteer on the Bentely Speed 8 a lot, especially on worn tires.

I gotta be honest, If the power drops any more I probably won't do it anymore. I feel like we're slow already as it is. This was a lot of fun, just used to my GT1 Vette, and this is a BIG change! :scared:
 
I might switch with you. The F430 was okay. I didnt have any problems with them.
LMP class was tissimo, gtamann123, GTP_MPower, Cowboys965. Dont know the other classes.

I'm thinking about running the Ford GT at Suzuka, but I'm not sure yet I REALLY want to correct my BMW V12 LMR because all the adjustments were all out of whack. :( I think lmp is going to be weird on a track like Suzuka, if I cant really get a groove with the BMW I'll move to another class maybe, but probably not permanently, and if I can beat AMG Academy Intermediate all Gold I can get the Mercedes CLK GTR race car '98. So even though I retired great race guys. :)

I really have no complaints about the F430. it felt right at Laguna Seca. But then again, Laguna Seca is a tight, narrow, and technical course with no real high speed sections (straights). It was very easy to drive here at Laguna Seca. Fun even. No power drop is needed as most of the field probably didn't even reach terminal velocity (top speed).

It was a great race with lots of action. My first real victory and it comes in the pre-season. It will probably be my only vicotry unfortunately. :(

I do want to apologize to the following people for bumps or other infractions that I may have accidentaly caused.

It was dropped to 680. I dont put more power in my race cars unless necessary. I just need to find the balance of it.

I was amazed when I got past Flyin and Potatohead at the start of the race, really must've got the jump on them.

Was doing pretty good fuel and tire wise, only had to pit about 4 times and took about 20l on the last pit to make sure I had enough fuel. All in all tho a good race!

Even if i didn't get disconnected there is no way i could have caught up to tissimo. i didn't have enough grip coming out of turns.

I'm still working on finding the other pescarolo race cars
 
Just wanted to say I had a lot of fun with this last night!

I felt my Aston Martin was a little out classed by the other GT cars. I was only able to break 1:27 a couple of times during the race. Whether that was me, or just the fact that my car isn't really suited for such a complex track I'm not sure. It does understeer quite a bit, despite everything I tried. (I still love it though. :))

Much respect for stupidstormy who raced with me almost the entire time, and who was amazingly consistent and tenacious.

Somethings I think we need to do:

[*] Who gets to race. I don't believe that tat was signed up, but if he had been, it's unfair that he was asked to leave. In post three, I'll make a list of drivers that are "invited" to the next race, should a person not be able to make it, another driver will be invited.
[*]Qualifying with the three separate classes will take a long time. And five minutes isn't enough time especially on longer tracks. Therefore, I think we should do one of two things.
Either qualify on separate days, or combine GT and GTC qualifying and make qualifying longer, i.e. 15 minutes for the two groups. If we qualify on separate days, then the room won't be full so everyone in that class can go qualify, the top 5 move on to the race.
[*]Is everyone ok with how the formation lap went?
[*]Is Nurburgring GP/F good for the next preseason race? Or do we do Le Mans and then start the season? So one or two more preseason races?
[*]What did I forget?

I've had complaints about the Aston before.
It can't get any lighter, so more power maybe an option, we'll have to try a high speed track before I make a final decision though.

It IS a beautiful car. :)

Tat left on his own accord, he wasnt asked to leave. Someone said that someone would need to leave to let you back in so he volunteered for it...

The start race etc. is so that we can clearly see where everyone qualified.
We'll have to try your idea except with GTC and GT qualifying at the same time. 15 minutes each.

Yeah, it may have just been a bad car, or a bad suspension setting, for that track... not that I'd turn down a little more power. :)

And I agree with MitchZ06 on the qualifying. That's how I assumed it was going to be done, so I was a little confused why we had to back out and do it class by class. As long as everyone knows not to leave the pits it should work as Mitch describes.

And I was fine with the pace lap, but shouldn't the race then be set to 51 laps? Not that it mattered for me, I was 5 laps back anyway.

Not sure of the length you're looking for, but it took me like 1:06 to complete the 50laps
