Arguably one of the best looking cars in the game IMO.

So you can lose to other cars in it's class in style.

Same day qualifying, should only take 30-45 minutes before the race.

Had the next preseason racer been decided yet (chicane/no chicane)?
 
I think that we'll keep it without the Chicanes.
As I said, it's only to test the cars.

Hey everyone just letting you know I'm not going to have time to take my own photos of all the races with school and multiple GT5 series, very busy between everything. Therefore I'd really like it if you guys could request specific photos so that way I get photos that people will like and don't miss anything you feel was a crucial turn in your race.

Which btw is a thread you should follow because I mainly only post photos of our races =).

As far as qualifying goes, I don't really care that much about it. With only a few cars in each class, passing is not really a problem. You're either faster than the other 4-5 guys, or you're not.

That being said, I don't like so much time being taken up by qualifying. Friday nights are usually booked solid, and I can't commit to a 45 minute race that ends up taking 2 hours instead because of decisions on who's allowed to race and in what order.

So my vote is to move qualifying to another night (since removing it entirely is probably not favorable).

Off-topic, @Stormy and @Cowboy:
EA signed an exclusive, long contract with Porsche to create Need For Speed 5, officially entitled Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed in 2000. Since EA still holds the right to Porsche's brand to be used in video games, no other gaming company can use Porsches unless they work out a deal with EA first. I blame Porsche more than EA, because Porsche shouldn't have signed a contract that limited their exposure to more racing games. As great a game as NFS: PU was, it was only one game and did not achieve great commercial success.

I think I ran a 1:23 earlier today.. Gives a time to shoot for I guess, lol

I'm usually on 4pm est to about 7-8pm

Hey guys check out the challenge series thread, it's been updated. And also please subscribe to the thread and feel free to spark up discussion there if you'd like. The ALMS series will follow the hairpin challenge series and LMES will do Mitch's GT 3/4 series.

Guys, qualifying sessions will be held on Thursdays at 8:00-10:30 PM EST. Note that times may be moved earlier or later depending on when TT13's challenge series will take place. His challenge series will be either right before, or right after qualifying on Thursdays.
Here is a possible schedule for the "race weekends."

Tentative 1:
Thursday
7:00- Room Opens
7:15-7:45- TTChallenge Race
8:00-8:30- LMP Qualifying
8:35-9:05- GT Qualifying
9:10-9:40- GTC Qualifying
9:45-?- Open Practice
Friday
8:00- Room Opens
8:15- Legality Verification (Mandatory for Racers)
8:20- Grid-Up
8:30- Race Start

Could your guys qualify with my guys by any chance?
 
I like doing my qualis before the start of the race as I use the 'fastest first' setting and this makes it relatively quick and simple and theres no need to organise another day (people might miss qualis and have to start at the back or they make qualis but miss the race).
