Guys, since this maintenance, I have no doubt will fix the glitch and perhaps even the tire wear as well, do you guys want to postpone the race a week?
Would be convenient for me, but I can still make it if I need to.

there arent any notes on what the maintenance is for exactly, i hope you're right. in any case im fine with racing as planned tomorrow
 
I'd rather wait also. Last couple of Fridays have been really hectic. Would like to avoid those at all costs.
 
I don't know if I'm even still going to race. I've been really annoyed at GT5 lately, and I need to work harder on schoolwork.
 
I'll vote for a postpone. Forgot my wife is going to have all four wisdom teeth out tomorrow morning, and spending a few hours playing video games the same night seems a little insensitive.

Hoping gatrs is right about the glitch and tires.

Get rFactor and you won't have to deal with that. :sly:
 
I have it! Just cannot for the life of me get that FFB crap to work. It's either ripping my wheel left and right out of my hands or it's loose as a pinwheel.

I can possibly waste one of my re-installs but was hoping not to...

Yes please, postpone it. I'm not going to make it tonight. :(

The maintenance may help with the online glitch, but unless there is an update for GT5 with the maintenance, it won't help the tire wear situation at all.
 
so i have rfactor now, just messing around with it to see what all it has to offer. just a quick glance at everything, seems so much more in depth than i imagined it would be. i like how i can use my dfgt with the game as well. do you rfactor guys get together online much?

Not really.
Jav and I have the first preseason race on Sunday for a league we're doing.
Not many of you guys have gotten it going yet.
Except for Jav and I, for a period of time Blaze was driving with us. But I think he's done with sims for now.
But the few three way battles we were able to have were awesome.
 
I vote for a postpone too. GT5 is no fun right now.

Also gators, I hope to be up and running with Rfactor in a few weeks, so maybe you can help me set it up? I am a complete newb at pc sims.

But PC hardware I'm no good with. lol

Think the race tonight is a no-go.
Oh yeah, 9 days until our one year anniversary. 👍
 
It's nearly been a year? Someone needs to dig up some photos from then and post a 'best of' imo.

Haha, that's a good idea.
Most of all the old stuff is all in the social group.

It's a shame my old PS3 RSoD'd. I had ALL the replays saved up. Every single one.

I think I still have some replays from last season, but not every race I saved though.

yeah im a total rfactor noob right now too, i can set things up myself but as far as getting the right mods/skins whatever i have no idea.

Krohn racing Ferrari 458.

Lime green with a purple racing stripe down the middle. On the 458. :yuck: Same livery as their other cars.
 
Thought it was dark green stripe? Well they've ruined what was a 'decent' livery....
 
Well at least they will be racing!
