If he was so terrible how did he avoid incidents, and how did he avoid crashing, and how did he win? Your comment might be what you think or saw, but the results tell a different story. He put in an awesome drive at the end to pull out a gap and cruise to victory.

When's our next race?
 
Such a badass car! And that sound!! But yet what we get is a poor excuse of a rendition cofused with its own cylinder count!

Lol!! Yeah, guess I still wish they get their heads out of their butts and get it right for once! Or is it that I get pissed off every time I remember that GT5 was the only reason I ever bought a PS3 and after investing a few hundred dollars we get all of this BS!
 
This is getting old, every comment is about how bad GT5 is. There are threads for that, why bring it here?
 
Well the condition of online GT5 gaming directly affects our series. I mean, look at what happened at Monaco, and then how we basically abandoned the Le Mans race as a GT only joke. Rightly so we're a little bewildered on what direction this and all GTP series will take in the future. Why do you think we're all abandoning the game for rFactor, a game much older and for PC only?

The only reason Madrid worked is because of our low attendance, and the only reason we have low attendance is because a lot of us probably think GT5 gaming is kaput for now. Separate rooms for LMP and GT is rather lame, given the strategy it removes from a multi-class series.

The series I've started running has to cut its regular driver list to 12 just to keep us from black screening. And on hards that don't wear out in two seconds, it's one of the most rewarding racing series I've done aside from this one pre-glitch and tire wear upgrade.

I always look forward to Seca, which is next on the list unless gatrs wants to do a different track. But I'm not going to spend a week practicing there just for the race to fall apart Friday night. We'll see what happens. Surprised it's been all quiet on the western front regarding the glitch, at the very least. Tires don't even matter compared to that.

And my personal reprimands about GT5 come from someone who has loved and supported PD's projects since PSX. I love GT for what it is, what it was, what potential it has.

It's just frustrating that we aren't able to play the game we love the way it was meant to be played, IMO.

Cant hate on PD to much though. If they didnt mess up on GT5 I wouldnt have found out about some of the other racing games others are using. :)

You are getting old, every comment you make has something negative in it. We are all upset that this glitch has ruined our GT5 experience, not very hard to understand, is it?
 
Sorry for not making last week's race. I got caught up in something and it was also my Mother's birthday. :)

On another subject, I can't say that I hate Polyphony, just that I am concerned for them in the direction that they are seemingly taking with the series. It just seems that they are stuck in the "old times". With that said, they are hiring new people, so hopefully they can assist greatly with the series.

lol, I'm getting old? And what's beating the dead horse, downing GT5 every other comment? Is that the cool thing to do now? There's threads for that, like I said. The discussion about GT5's failings have their place, this is suppose to be ALMS thread, but weve strayed way off topic already, for Daytona 24, iRacing etc. But I'm negative when it's truth being said that it's old hearing the same crap about GT5. Right, I get it. Please don't come at me like that, because I never singled you or anyone out. Learn some respect.

I try to only bring up GT5 problems as they affect ALMS, and like I brought up it has pretty much disrupted the series more than once. Obviously I and the rest of us can still find something good in GT5. Why else would we continue playing this game despite the update flubs and tire business? I know I'm not alone, as several of us have already sought other avenues. The reason we talk about rFactor here is because it's an alternative for people not wanting to deal with the issues in GT5, and still get a Le Mans-like experience. I think the series has a potential to expand in some ways into other games with the same drivers, so I don't necessarily see it as off-topic. However, I still look forward tot he series each week and driving with you and all the others here. I'll drop the glitch stuff for now, until it comes up again in some relevant way (which it probably will).

Yep. Still sorting FFB. I've got the half that feels bumps working (my wheel responds over the red/white barriers), but not the part that gives resistance to turning the wheel. So either Leo or RealFEEL, whichever is the wheel-turning bit, isn't working. It's like a wet fish on a stick :(

Funny story.
My school system bought one copy of Windows 7 Professional, and put that one copy on every computer in the district.
So now, every time I log on I get a message that says "This copy of Windows is not genuine." I chuckle a bit every time.

Our school takes of 7 and puts XP. :scared:

Some other guy said his school does that too in the grind my gears.

Yep. There's got to be something not copied to the right location or something. There was some random file called FULL controller or something like that, when I dled from that link. I have no idea where that goes and the tutorial neglects to mention it.:ouch:
 
Make sure your taking notes so it can be easier for me. Your using the G27 right?
