The 911 GT1-98 was sex too, I'd love to have it in game too.

I watch this thread for no apparent reason, but yes! They could add 917, 918, 908, 956, 956L, 962, 962C, Dauer 962, GT3 Hybrid, 917k, and more that I missed.

918 RSR and 911 GT1-98 are the only Porsches I like, couldn't care less for the rest of them.

934, 935, 936. 911 is okay, but i love group c. Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 is what they need in the game if we're talking GT cars. Btw sorry for going off topic. :D

Don't get me started on McLaren...my god I'd sell a kidney to get a F1 GTR (1995-96 version).

This is probably my last statement in this thread.

I want to state that I am RETIRING from my LMP1 driver position. As most of you probably noticed, I have not been around lately, so this retirement was somewhat expected. I feel bad not being able to inform you of this decision earlier, but feel free to open my spot to another interested driver.

Next week, I am moving from Brazil to France, where I will continue my Engineering studies, and there I won't be able to play any games for some time. So, for now, I will be completely away from GT5.

I would like to thank you all for the time spent racing, I really enjoyed being here.

Best regards, and good luck carrying on the series!

Very saddening to see you retire, mate. I hope you enjoy your Engineering job, though! May you remember us, and hope you return to sim racing!

good luck leonardo, after all life does come first. best of luck with your engineering degree

What kind of engineering? I'm in the civil engineering field. No degree or anything though. Started off as a lowly rodman and worked my way up to a designer. Mainly focusing on urban development.

Yeah I'll be going to Uni next year as an adult student to do mechanical engineering and aerodynamics.

I'm getting some weird times with the Ford at Sarthe. On softs I can hit 4:03 and on hards I can only manage 4:08. Pretty sure I can get lower times on both tires. If there was ever a race where it would be ok to run on hards I would think it would be this one.

i just did my first day of testing and i got 4:03's as well with the softs and with the right setup im sure you could stretch them 5 laps. i havent tried med's or hards yet, prob do that later in the week when i dial the car in. im probably wishing but i dont think ill be able to break the 4:00 mark, who knows.

really liking the track though, it sorta reminds me of daytona road but mixed with nurburgring. there are a few spots where you get a lil airborne, hope no contact is made when this happens

Yeah those bumps on the straights are killers. Thats usually when I like to regain focus and composure. But then all of a sudden I get a big jolt from the wheel. Scares the s out of me.

showing this video for 2 reasons, one its freakin awesome. two, if you look at the position of the track when the video starts its at the last banner that says playstation 3. fast forward to 4:03 (sound familiar?) and you see hes right back where he started. i just thought that was so cool because the physics of the game and the rules set in this racing series have it pretty much dead on to what it is irl. for this race anyway...

Quite accurate indeed. Also considering that the onboard is on a LM'ed C6.

Well on hards, if you were using the RM ZR1 in the game, I think that would actually be accurate with the downforce, that's awesome.

Hards have too little grip. There are sports cars with tires equal or better. Basing this on lap times at real world tracks. Take a ZR1 RM with 480hp @1250kg around lesarthe on hards and see if you get 4:02s or close.

Seth your driving the Bentley right? What times are you getting with our league specs? Wanna see if I can even get close to what you guys are running if I hop in mine.

Well with the GT at 430hp, 4:08 on hards without front aero and low rear aero, I think it'd be about right. I'll try next time I'm on GT.

But at Le Mans they run the chicane. Here apparently the no chicane is being used. So that shows how much slower the streetcar is lol.
