At some points, when entering the pits, the pit menu does not appear and my car will just drive straight through without repairing damage or changing the tires or refueling (similar to a drive through penalty). Sometimes, after I leave the pits, the pit menu appears and yet I can still drive around. Other times, when I pause to go go back to the pits, my car is instead stuck on the track and will retain damage, tire wear, a fuel consumption. Everyone else can see me on track and can interact with me (i.e. bump into me), but at this point, the only way to change tires etc., is to exit out to the lobby and re-enter the course.
 
I ran into the pit problem, but it wasnt anything like you described. It was at Daytona. I entered way to fast. So it slowed me down and just let me drive through. Pitted the right way next time around and everything was fine.

I'm gonna go ahead and put this here if any of you are interested in the Rolex 24.

The 45 Lizard had damage because of a tire puncture which caused a spin out and damage.

There's also been engines blown in a Corvette DP (Action Express) and and the Chip Ganassi No.1. Good, I hate Ganassi. Good news is the Gainsco team was second fastest in session 2.
 
Well, me and the LMP 1 and 2 classes would be out early as they and the Ferraris can't have snow tires. :lol:
 
But seriously, is it Seca or are we doing le mans again?

Also, if anyone's interested there's a justin.tv channel having a le mans marathon.

Some of you might like to know they're currently playing a race with mclarens...
 
Weird that's not what the OP schedule shows. I'm down for anywhere but I'd like to practice some if possible. Gatrs can you verify what track we're doing?

Works for me. I just wasn't sure. Madrid is fun and seems like a good track for the Ford if I can stay clean.
 
Anyone else notice a bit of torque oversteer on the Toyota? The back end seems to slip out a few times on that practice lap.
 
Traction control hasnt been sorted yet.
 
That's an awesome sound. I'm not a huge Toyota fan, but I think that's the protoype I'd like to win.
 
Not a huge fan of Toyota either. But I would like to see them at least keep it interesting. If Peugot didnt come along and challenge Audi, then there would be no R18.
 
Me and cowboys got 1.24.6s at Madrid during practice. The Ferrari got a 1.24.6 even and the Ford was a few thousandths of a second slower.

I'm excited!
 
I wouldn't go by what Autoweek says, unfortunately. It seems Peugeot has let go of everyone involved in the 908 program. If they were to come back soon, why close the program down completely? This flies in the face of earlier reports. Of course they'll come back, but soon is in question. Madrid is a nice little track, but I think it's a bit too tight.
 
Should probably drive a bit on Madrid.
Have been spending my free time in the past week racing on rFactor with Jav and Blaze.
As usually, tonight was awesome.
