just about ready for the race, havent practiced much this week but hitting it hard today. lets hope we actually get the race going and people show up
 
What times you getting, Kevin? I think having no lmp traffic will help keep a clean qualy and race, hopefully.

EDIT: 19 hours for enduracers DL :grumpy:

Are we just doing 1 class each? Lame.
 
Hence why I'm not even going to try to make it, as well as not having a setup.
 
I guess I'll just turn up with a 458 if that's ok, if not maybe try out a Jag?

We already have two 458s. And I'd prefer that you'd race in your class.
And I never finalized us doing two rooms. From the sounds of it, Jav is the only person really advocating for it. Is everybody against that?
 
I'd prefer I have competition! Don't get pichky on me, you got guys not even wanting to race. I'll just be racing against lmp2's which aint fun.

my best so far is a 1'21.7, but im usually in the mid 22's. havent done any long runs yet so im not sure how far i can go on tires

Yeah, but if you don't race in your class, how will the other people that race in LMP1 going to feel?
 
I just think we should race in separate rooms as if nothing else has changed. If we all go in one room, prepare to be black screened for two hours again...

BTW I bought rFactor and have been practicing nurburg in one of the cars it gives you, waiting for the enduracers thing to download. I was also considering the helmet cam, but does that work in conjunction with the enduracers mod?

I'd imagine it would work with any mod.
How's the FFB?
 
My fastest was a 1:22.1. And I lasted for about 11 laps in the 458, and the fuel loss is 10-20%. I had to overhaul my tuning since my last one had too much understeer through some sections.

This track is probably as demanding as Monaco, really. You have to go real deep inside a lot of apexes to actually get a good enough exit speed, esp. the semi-circle. I can never get that part right :ouch:
 
The numbers for this race seem low enough to go for a single 12 driver server, that should work.
 
Regardless, someone other than me should host. The Internet in Hell is probably than that at my house as we've recently discovered.

Holy crap something like exploded outside my apartment, could have been a transformer. It cut the power in my apartment for a sec. But hopefully it doesn't happen again. Coming now...
 
T'was a nice race guys, but it wasn't enjoyable for me. The first 20 laps were amazing, but I just lost the rhythm in the 30-40th lap. It was like if it just disappeared. I felt like I was driving without a passion, and that made me annoyed & couldn't concentrate. But it was a marvelous race. I hope next week will be a bit better 👍

EDIT: Also Cowboys, you gotta keep up, man! What happened to that enthusiasm? Was it because of the Monaco race or something?

You GT guys are really hard to catch once you're ahead. My 10 lap stints didn't help either. Only caught on half way through that everyone was doing 11 or more.

It was pretty fun though. I'm doing significantly better this season, with a 3rd place, 4th place, and 6th place, with my two lowest being 2 7th places.

Not the winner's circle but not last every race like I was last season. The Ford helps :D

Also, downloading enduracers, gatrs. This time the dl time is like an hour or so.

EDIT: never mind...dropped to like 3 hours now :(

No. I went to Hards to experiment. They aren't good. You get maybe 1 1/2 of a stint compared to Softs, but I was running like 5,6,or 7 second slower Laps so it ended up hurting me.

Think of this as a Research & Development race. :sly:

Ah. By the way, are you still using Priano's tune? I'm using other tunes out there (research :sly:) for the 458.

I always liked that integrity in you, TT13. I should remember that races is just a race sometimes..
 
Hi, i know its the middle of your season but wondering if i could join up for the remainder?
