@bhawk....sorry to hear about the emergency, I hope everything's ok.

@koly....I wouldn't mind you squeezing bhawk in the standings where he belongs, but it's up to you.

If racers don't object, I'll squeeze bhawk776 in ... we're running an open season, nothing as heavy as the WRS, but I'll see what you guys want to do first. Give me your opinions and if I hear no objections, I'll redo the score tables tomorrow.

I don't mind. More the better! (Except he is faster than me :p)

But yeah, some things can't be helped, I almost missed the deadline because I was in the queue for Grand Final tickets (Which I havn't got yet!).

I don't mind, Family comes first. :) Games second. :dopey: But he did get a time in just a little late. Put him in. 👍

I almost missed my own deadline: I was reviewing the driver's list, determining who was missing with only misutes to go, and I realized I was one of them :p

Thanks for the concern Lewie 👍 👍 ! I got a call from my sister last night from the hospital telling me that my brother in law was badly burned(2nd degree). So I've been playing "Mr. Mom" watching my niece and nephew while my sister is staying at the hospital with my brother in law. My brother in law is going to be ok but he'll have to stay at the hospital afew more days.

Thanks to all of you for letting my time be added to the results  👍 👍 but I missed the deadline :guilty: , so to be fair to all, please exclude me for the results.

I'll be back in the upcoming weeks to get you all !! :trouble: ;)

Thanks Jerome :D , and much respect right back at ya!

I agree, count his time. We'd all appreciate the same consideration & flexibility. I'd say that even if I didn't edge you by just 0.050. Great time! I better watch my back.

Dang! Forgot about the deadline on this one. Sorry! I don't even remember what I got........just had time for one run.

Congrats to all participants!!!!

👍 bhawk. We don't hold it against you for missing the deadline, family comes before anything else! Anyone else wants to say differently then they need shot, not killed, just shot so it hurts a lot. :D

Wow... incredible times.

I'm not an official entrant, but the best I was able to do in the Shelby was a 149.583 (33.383/115.596). Handles great, but runs out of steam on the straights.

Awger, that's some of the fun of this series .. trying to buy the best parts for the chosen ride, controlling insane wheelspin and cars that drive like speedboats on a heavy surf :)

In saying that, the Shelby is a little over penalized and I'll probably be lifting the non-HP money a little here shortly.

Still, running pretty much stock, you should be able to get nearer 1'40.

(And if you're tempted to join in the fun, we'd love to have you!)

I'm scraping for tenths of seconds, not tens.

Looks like I need to stay away from you guys until I either get a DFP or learn to shift with my fingers while I drive with my thumbs... neither of which will likely be happening very soon.

Still... if you've got a replay of a Shelby running New York in the low 140s, I'd love to see it... I might learn something. :)

I'd love to see that replay too. I couldn't do very well in the Shelby either given the $. My best time at NY was 1'49.015. I'd encourage you to compete regardless. It's alotta fun and you learn alot. The people are great & helpful. You're driving skills will improve too. I've petitioned Koly for more money for the Shelby...she's indicated she'll help...we'll see. It doesn't matter. I'm driving the Shelby the 2nd 1/2 of the season even if she doesn't give it another penny. I can lose in the Shelby just as gracefully as I can lose in the 69 Vette.

If you start competing in the Shelby now you'll have a leg up on me in the 2nd 1/2 of the season.

Oh, the Shelby WILL be getting more money half way through the season.
