    ARL GR.4 SERIES WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Welcome! ARL GR.4 Series has been going strong for 5 seasons now. We hope to keep growing and watching driver's progress through the series.

We at ARL have always based our races off of a few key points: clean driving, hard racing, fair competition for every driver, and most important having FUN!

If you are a newer driver, new to league racing or looking to improve your race craft this is a good stepping stone to further your driving ambitions.

The GR.4 Series races consist of 3 sprint type races, no aids except abs, no tuning except brake ballast, light damage, and light tire wear. Race night lobby opens at 9:45 pm EST. racing starts at 10:15 pm EST.
    • 6 week season
    • Any European Gr4 car. Only 2 drivers per car
    • Race soft tire
    • 9x tire wear
    • 6x fuel consumption
    • Light Damage
    • BoP on
    • No aids (except ABS)
    • Brake ballast tuning is the only tuning allowed
    • Fixed race schedule consisting of european circuits only
    • Open qualifying session starting at 9:45 pm EST and continues until 5 mins before race start.
    • First race starts at 10:15 pm EST
    • 3, 15 minute race or laps equaling 15 minute races
    • False Check Start
    1. Based on fastest first qualifying
    2. Reverse grid based on previous race
    3. Reverse grid based on previous race
    PS_Messages_20190612_230855.jpg

    1 additional point for pole
1 additional point for fastest lap (each race)
    * there is 1 drop week in the 6 week race season, the drop week will subtract your lowest scoring night to hopefully close the points gap for the winner
The penalty system for the GR.4 league is a little more relaxed than the Gr.3 series mainly because this is more of a learning league. If you feel like you need to file a IR on a driver please fill out the google sheet @Herimopp89 has made, He is our Chief Steward and will review all IR along with the other BoD members.

    • MINOR ACCIDENT: causing minor damage to another drivers car, unsafe re-entry, cutting corners to gain an advantage

    • MEDIUM ACCIDENT: dive bomb, making a pass using out of bounds, not adhering to flag rules, blocking/weaving

    • SEVERE ACCIDENT: causing major damage to another drivers car, not conceding spot if you have ran another driver off track/ bumped them going into a corner intentionally hitting another driver, retaliation, dive bomb with no intention of using the brakes

    • GROUNDS FOR BEING KICKED OUT OF THE LEAGUE: intentionally trying to wreck other drivers, driving wrong way on the track, pretty much being a jacka$$ I don’t see many of us having a problem with this major point deduction because overall this is a clean group of drivers but you never know when you might have to use this penalty
    DISCONNECT

With the recent update on GT Sport there have been many instances a driver getting stuck on the grid (including myself). Hopefully this will not be a problem going forward but until GT Sport fixes this problem we will need to adapt a rule for being stuck or disconnecting. The rule we are putting in place for the time being is that if a driver gets stuck on the grid we will restart if problem persist we will ask the driver to clear cache and restart PS4 then rejoin the lobby, if the same driver is still having issues we will ask that driver to leave for the night and issue last place points to the driver/drivers for that race. It really sucks being stuck on the grid and I want everyone to race each week but at the same time we can’t restart more than twice for the same driver it’s not fair to the others.
    CONFIRMATION
This league is really starting to grow and we need to adapt to the drivers wanting to race. In the near future we might have to open a second lobby but for now we will be sticking with just one single lobby. With that being the case we really need drivers to confirm their spot prior to race night (wednesday) or auto-confirm because drivers who confirm will have the top priority when it comes to a full lobby. If a driver does not confirm before the race they may be asked to leave the lobby to open a space for a driver who has confirmed. Confirmation will open for the weeks race on monday mornings and end wednesday afternoon around 6 pm EST.

I'll sign up. I don't know how often I will be able to make it, but I would love to participate when I can. I think Monday or Tuesday would be best for me. Also, might want to fix the title. ;)

So I see everyone has voted Tuesday as race night for your ARL GR.4 SPRINT CUP and I would be interested in joining too if there is room. If not I will be happy being a Stand-in when needed until a spot opens up.

Me and @Infineon both work at the same place on the same shift and Tuesday's work out great for us.

Anyway let me know if there is room.
