Oh man... He goes to my school and guess what, he lived in my dorm freshman year. Not to offend anyone, but this doesn't speak well for you Civil Engineers.

Dude he isn't my friend, and i never even talked to him. I just have seen him around before, hence he lived in my building. I am a mechanical engineer and look on all civies with digust... The video is even funnier when you can relate...

He's really not, he could halfway carry a tune. He just wasn't a very good singer, or dancer for that matter.

What school are you going to? I could not tell if he said the name or not in the video.

UC berkeley... So sad that this is how my school and engineers will be thought of. Really only 75% of us are like that... The good thing is i heard he didn't take it too hard. Which is good, I mean we people have hard times keeping up our self esteem, which has led to sad events in the past...

You know it's kind odd that clip... I was gonna say my stereotype of "oh yeah that's SF for you", but suddenly I feel embarrassed as well. :odd: know one knows I'm asian right? cool...

He's not from SF... He's from LA, says so in the clip...Don't start bashing SF... We don't go cruising on Capitol for hunnies on saturday nights now do we...

He's not even close to being the worst on that horrible show.

The most horrible ones are usually the ones that make it to the final round.

I think it's more that we get to see the agony of defeat in these faces, as their dreams seem to come together, then get simply dashed on the shores of reality.

I did see the video, and I can only say, that he gave it a shot.

I'd like to propse a show for Simon Cowell. We've all seen the spectacular defeats that some people come up with. And you know how we all love the little guy putting on over the big corporation.

Yes, we have American Idol, where they take the best of the bunch, trim them down to a few, and then the nation votes on who's the best. We also have "America's Next Top Model", in similar fashion. Taking the best of the bunch and seeing who's the top banana.

I'd like to see Simon do "Make me an Idol" where he takes 10 of the worst, and in the process of one season, turns them into a feature. We get to vote on "Most improved" at the end.

Yes, it'd be like Simon does "Queer eye for the straight guy" in the music business.

That would be awesome to see...but it would get a smaller viewer base than the current idol crap, wouldn't it?

Lets all give the guy some credit, I bet most of us wouldn;t have the balls to do that, knowing had terible we were

I was also thinking that.

But on the other hand he seems to lack in terms of social skills, I mean how come he doesn't get that he stinks in singing and dancing and will never be the next ricky martin? It's like he's got a psychic disorder of some sort.

I take it you didn't watch those auditions? It is very embarassing to see these people's dreams crushed, mostly because their dreams were utterly ludicrous. I can't begin to fathom the murky depths of what makes these people think they can sing.

I know I am a bad singer, therefore I don't sing or expect to be famous for it. Apparently many people do not make these simple connections.

That is the sole reason I watch that show.

I agree with this one. Some people just can't see or admit that they cannot sing/dance.
