Me too.👍

Placed an order as soon as the GT2 wasn't listed as "pre-order".
Paid June 29, shipped same day.
I had some questions about my tracking numbers, emailed back within a few hours.

So far I'm pretty impressed with customer service.
Should be here within a week, just have to build my cockpit now:cheers:

Rats! I placed my order last Sunday and still no UPS shipping info. Just the order confirmation email. I guess some orders placed after me are going out before me. :(

I'll check with support and see what's going on.

Did you order several items or just one ? I suggest you grab a beer, take a deep breath and go for a spin this weekend. Two of your favorite things, right. (your profile) Then by the middle of next week you should know something. At this point calling support is waaay premature. It will come, relax.

Sorry to hear bro. I just opened everything up yesterday and got it mounted to the playseat

Tried out on Forza3 and wow I am bad (first wheel I have ever owned).

@Ice, there is something wrong with Forza and the Fanatec Wheels. Myself and Sonac on here have tried several different adjustments to get RWD cars to go without swaying. Near Impossible. Now AWD &FWD are not so bad, and actually a bit fun to drive.

In order to make in game deadzone adjustments, you need to go to your controller settings and hit X to advance to the settings. It is VERY frustrating to say the least. Again, with AWD or FWD, you can do half decent. Its high powered RWD's that are nearly impossible to keep straight. It's like a notch in the game.

I DO NOT have this issue with Dirt, Nascar, Shift, etc..... only FM3. So, don't harp on yourself too hard, it's not really you. I am incredible on iRacing, and Nascar09 with the GT2.

Ya i was messing with all the advanced sections esp for the brake...that thing was set to be pushed about half way before it even registered. Finally got that all sorted but I still need to do some tweaking. I was using the AWD Gt3 Rs then tried the Audi LMP car and like you said i was all over the place..haha

Quick question tho should I upgrade the firmware on the csp's if im mostly going to be playing console racers?

I plan on picking up Dirt3 tonight so i will continue to tweak settings.

I'm still a little tempted to order a gt2 while they are in stock. Hopefully they didnt run out already (concerned by mf-dif's post). I dont want to give these guys hundreds of dollars to accrue in their bank account again :yuck:

did someone of you get a good FFB setup for rfactor (maybe with formula 1 mod)?

You might have better luck over at nogripracing.com or racingdepartment forums. I didn't get much help for FFB settings for my T500rs at this boards even with multiple posts

whoa... am I reading right or do I need a coffee?

You guys ordered GT2/CSP stuff and got it within 1-2 WEEKS?!

I just bought a DFGT like last week cuz I couldn't deal with no wheel any longer. No longer have MS wheel, older Logi MOMO Force is wonky and missing power supply and I just want to get a GT2 (or even one of these new CSR wheels) without waiting 3-4 months for it. If so, I'll order a GT2/CSP and return the DFGT!

Do it my friend. Its worth it. I have used mine virtually every day since I got it in December. 360, PS3, PC, you name it, I have used it for that racing game.

haha yes hard to believe i know. Mine came in technically less than a week. Ordered last thursday night and it was delivered yesterday morning.

I want to say thanks to Thomas and Fanatec for my goodies. I ordered and recieved my GT2, CSP's and Rennsport V2 stand within 2 weeks of the day I ordered. I took a couple crappy cell pictures of my setup and figured I would share. I need to order the H-gate shifter but the Paddles are doing great for F1 , Forza and Dirt 3 for the time being.

This is my first wheel, and I must say it is very different but I'm getting my times down and getting a hang of it.

I did move a couple things around after the fact with the pedals.

Don't mind the glare, I had my curtains open and was at an awkward position but this is how I see it.

^^ Above pics look sweet 👍

Very happy you guys are getting your products quickly!!!

quick question: You Fanatec owners try Burnout Paradise or Need for Speed: Prostreet? These are older games ive had on my xbox 360. I noticed they have wheel support. Was wondering how fanatecs work on those since it has the ability to dropdown to imitate the microsoft wheel. I wouldnt expect mind blowing FFB or anything. Just wondering how steering input works and really- if it works at all

I have Burnout for PS3 and PC (used both logitech and fanatec wheels) and you can tell it designed with a controller in mind. It had poor ffb compared to other games.

Nice job! You went big for your first wheel!

Two things: First, it looks like you have the pedal stopper backwards. The flat side should face the pedals. Second, if you use the wheel stand on a hardwood floor, check to see if the bolts for the pedal stopper are long enough to scrape the floor. If there are, you'll need to grind them down or risk damaging the floor.

That is one of the adjustments I made after I took the picture mate. 👍

I realized it after looking, I was just so excited to get everything in I messed up a couple things but it is good now. I'll be honest though, I won't be using the rennsport for too long because my pops and I are building a cockpit for when I move. There just isn't enough room in the current place to have it how I want it but as you see the Rennsport is doing its job.

I did go big on my first wheel, but I want the best If i am spending my hard earned money.

Are any of you guys mounting the pedals to the V2 with a bolt/nut? Mine surprisingly don't move around since I put the stopper in the correct place. :D

We'll they never sent me the UPS shipping info...but when I came home the wheel was at the front door. 👍

Pleasant surprise...took 5 days from order to arrival. I've only tried it with FM3 so far, but I'm already liking it more than my Logitech G25 that I've spent many hours on with all types of games. The FF is just more realistic in delivery vs the Logitech which is exaggerated. I really didn't know if it was going to be better, since the Carerra didn't do it for me...but this wheel behavior is night and day difference.

Also for those that where saying RWD cars sway back and forth in FM3...dial up your rotation. I have been fine with 900 degrees, but noticed the swaying instantly when I tried the Radical at 270.

I switched to industrial strength Velcro. I laid the fabric loop strips down the full length of the base plate. I peeled the rubber feet off the ClubSport pedals and replaced them with the hook portion of the Velcro. It didn't seem like it was going to work initially, but after setting in for a while it's a really strong bond.

If you want an even stronger and stiffer solution, without being permanent, check out the 3M Dual Lock line of fastener tape.

Ok, less than 5 days (orderd at 1am PDT Monday morning, delivered Friday afternoon 5pm PDT - granted from Cali up the coast to Seattle) and its all magically here. Total happenstance that the xbox360s arrived a day early to be here with the GT2 wheel and clubsport pedals.

Boxes just removed from the shipping boxes. Screw dinner.... I have some more unboxing to do for this Friday evening.

Several hours later, its all set up.

I too had the pedal stops in the reverse direction... that Fanatec quick-start sheet isn't that clear really... the picture they have shows it installed that way.

But thats not the problem, on the rubber feet the pedals don't slide.
Bigger issue is positioning the pedals so the stand isn't in the way of my foot moving from gas to brake. I've shifted the pedals as far right as I can .. without the right feet falling off the stand edge.

The Fanatec shifters... well the H shifter isn't getting me excited. That this is so notchy and loud, its gonna drive me nuts. Maybe a better design is warranted there... though I'd only use that shifter for ralley driving anyway. For Forza 3 the flappy paddles are doing fine... its the disconnected, arcade like feel of the cars thats giving me more trouble than shifting (though I'd like some feedback on shifting as the first few races I ended up shifting down into reverse... argh....

Ok, bed time. Tomorrow, tie-wrap up the wires in a good way and figure out how to secure the pedals in just the right position.

Hi, regards Pedal Stopper, to stop bolt ends scratching floor etc, you can pack top, under knobs with washers. This also makes it easier to turn knob's.

Regards Shifter notchy & noisy, look for cotton wool or whatever its called, mod.

Cheers BOB

I tried Dirt 1 and thought the wheel was going to explode. It was twitching left and right a few degrees erratically, almost violently, for seemingly no reason.

I have a crap load of games, I'll try them at some point and report back.

I agree, they were backwards on the start guide but I then took a brief moment and regrouped and got them right. lol

I will tell you this though, after one more day with the wheel I got a lot more comfortable as I bet you will.

Maybe a big amount of "lin" (linearity) would help that ?

The dead zone is set with the controller analog stick in mind which is huge on a wheel. So a steering wheel in Burnout is emulating a controller (exact like that converter that allows you to use a G27/DFGT on the x360) and does not have real wheel support.

Yeah, I too looked at it and scratched my head and thought... that cannot be right But so far, the weight of the pedals, and their rubber feet, have prevented any pedal movement on the stand.. so I've still got them backwards :-)

I'm getting used to the controller slowly. Heck, it only took me 45mins last night to figure out where the D-pad was (cause I was too lazy to get the instruction sheet.... typical man behaviour)... and then this morning had to go look up and realize the toggle buttons were the brake and gas pedals (so I could get the Forza3 messages and delete all the 'view this trailer and buy that add on pack' crap.

I'm still having issues with the shifting (I'm overshifting with the paddles) and doing most of my passing via a rear quarterpanel takeout maneuver in the turns :ouch:...

... and if only there was a way to get more feedback of the momentum to know your too hot into the turn (before you totally understeer off the road :) )

But now the system is hooked into the hifi rather than the tv, so I've got all 7+1 channels going in proper surround sound (well, probably 5.1 driving the 7.1s)... much better.

Time to decide: yard work, or another few rounds of Forza.... hmmm..

I'll jump on Forza later tonight if you want to run a couple... Turbo306 LX is my GT.

As for the feedback, I was racing my Ford GT on Road america and you can actually feel the sidewall rolling in a couple of the turns and that blew my mind. You will get the feel for it, just be light with the wheel and don't jerk it around. It was quite wild when I felt that, and was really cool.

For Burnout Paradise I set my wheel to 180 degrees rotation. The ffb wasn't great but it was more immersive diving in and out of traffic with the wheel. With pedals it is obvious that the gas in Burnout is really an on/off switch.
