GTPorscheSand should never be bordering a track. Aside from that, the death might have been avoided if the rest of the field had slowed down once the initial crash happened. I can't believe that they were going through there at a fairly good rate of speed with all the dust blocking the view and cars scattered about.
Track didn't look very safe either. The series should look into making these cars safer for the drivers.
RIP
According to the telemetry, from what I've read/heard, Dan Wheldon never touched his brakes either.
I don't have a source for that though.
R.I.P Guido Falaschi. Looks to me like South American stock car series. I've had a Brazilian pro driver before say that these cars are incredibly unsafe.

There has been a few high profile deaths but certainly not more than ever. Back in the early days of motorsport and up to the '70s-'80s you would've been lucky to get out alive. Is it just me or are more racers dying this year than ever?
Dont tell me that they didnt have time to hit the brakes......it takes no more than 0.1 sec. to hit the brake pedal. They stay on the throttle to try and cane spots before a safety car/caution.
No: *video removed*Was this the same series that had a fatality at Interlagos earlier this year?
First thing I thought of. Including after the incident was over and all those cars came flying through there racing for position through the mess.![]()
