Get approx 700-800k credits if you haven't already. Go to the premium dealership and buy the Corvette ZR1 (C6) '09. Go to GT Auto and Race Modify it. Then go to Tuning shop and fully tune it, add racing softs.
Now you have a car that will not only win the Corvette seasonal race easily, but almost every race it can enter. A very worthy investment.
