Amen to your signature brother. God bless you and Merry Christmas!

Come on guys somebody answer the guy! I have a G29, I wish I can help man.
Too bad that the best console wheel out there is still having support issues!
Thanks. Merry Christmas to you too. Ya from what I read on the official forum it's worst after the update. Ya sadly someone could have gave a answer yes or no. Amen on my sig. Proud to be a child of Christ and not a afraid to show it. Lol that's probably why no has responded. The wheel is great with dirt 4 and and I'm more then happy with Gt Sport. I've had wheel problems since Nfs Shift 2 and Fanatec wheels. I believe there is and has always been broken with fanatec. Sorry for the long post. Happy New Year soon.

With the PS4 controller, I found 75 to be the ideal value for Speed Sensitivity, so I recommend giving that a try and adjusting the other settings to your liking. It allows just the right amount of steering for most situations that rely upon it, but can be somewhat twitchy unless you run a relatively low Steering Sensitivity setting and relatively high Controller Damping. Here are my settings:

Code:
Steering Sensitivity: 10
Throttle Sensitivity: 45
Brake Sensitivity: 45

These sensitivities control the linearity of input from the controller.
0-49 is slower near the center/low end and faster at the end of the axis.
51-100 is faster near the center/low end and slower at the end of the axis.

Code:
Speed Sensitivity: 75
Controller Damping: 85

Speed Sensitivity controls the maximum steering lock based on your speed, and also how much you can countersteer.
Setting it lower = greater steering response.

Controller Damping controls the maximum rate of steering.
Setting it lower = quicker steering response.

Pretty much my experience too, but I'd recommend having controller damping on the lower side of 50. Currently I have it set at 40 because values well above that gives me difficulties catching the more dramatic slides in time. Maybe 40 is not the ideal value for me, but anything above 50 arguably becomes too restrictive combined with speed sensitivity at 75 and steering sensitivity at 4.

I prefer the higher Controller Damping because it allows some of the quick-tapping technique for making small adjustments in a timely fashion. When I have difficulty catching a slide (which is now uncommon, thankfully) it's usually a matter of insufficient countersteer, not too-sluggish countersteer, but setting Speed Sensitivity any lower than 75 seems too likely to result in too much steering lock.

I just tried 40 for Controller Damping, and that's too touchy for me, personally.

Thanks for the settings. I'll give them a try. I just sold my Fanatec Csl Elite wheel back to ps4 controller.

These have been working fine for me after I got the game a few days ago. 👍 Only issue is that it can be a bit twitchy on straights (which is probably more me getting used to playing with a controller again, more than anything ).

@Spacegoat -- I agree, but for now that compromise still seems to be the best we can do. It also depends greatly on what car you're driving, and which of the two or three default setups.

I have struggled for a while to get good DS4 settings. I messed around all over Christmas trying these above or near ^^ but I fail to make 1 lap :(

So I have gone the opposite with these settings to keep it a little more stable. If any one gets a chance can you apply these and test them and see what you think? :) DS4 PS4 Pro

where are your settings ? I checked and I don't see them listed.

I'm using @Wolfe's settings. After some practice, find them to be good. Haven't really tried anything else though.

Thanks. These are the best settings for me so far. I still dislike the game though. I wanted to like it but no proval. Similar problems IMO with Shift 2 PC1.

I can't help you with G29 because I have T300RS and is good enough, I lost a couple days to set it up, but now is ok. Go on you tube and write " Project cars 2 G29 setup " specify if yoy have PS4 or XB1, you will find a lot of settings for your wheel.

Thanks for trying, sold my wheel. Tried with a controller but hated it. Deleted the game.

I found my ultimate controller settings! It took awhile, a lot of YT and reading posts here.

I wanted to share them with others, maybe it’ll help them too.

Steering DZ 2
Steering sensitivity. 62
Throttle DZ. 2
Throttle sensitivity. 80
Brake DZ. 0
Brake sensitivity. 55
Clutch DZ. 10
Clutch sensitivity. 25
Speed sensitivity. 95
Damper saturation. 100
Controller damping. 80
Controller vibration. 50
Maximum shift time. 0

Steering DZ/sensitivity adjustments help me remove the twitchiness from my driving. I started with SS at 70 and reduced it as needed.

I increased Throttle DZ an increment at a time because I was too heavy on the throttle coming out of a turn and would end up spinning out.

Same with the brake sensitivity. I was too heavy on the brake and lowered it for a smoother ride.

With these settings, I restarted my career with Formula Rookie and had some of my best experiences with pc2. My only adjustments since using these settings was with the race engineer. I had the suspension tweeked to help me keep control while entering turns.

Hope this helps anyone who needs it
