You're going to have to elaborate a little more on that 'cause I'm just plain confused now.

ok..... every time i tap the gas to start the drift, it tends to slide more than im use to

Get used to it then ;)

The MR drivetrain is very balanced, especially the NSX, so if you disrupt the weight distribution the rear will slide out. On the NSX, it may seem like the rear is going to spin you out, but with the length of the car compared to the width, it looks really sweet in replays :)

i notice that ,because i did a small replay and it did look sweet, so i wanted to practice with it ^_^

NSXs are some of the easiest MR cars to drift, and yes they look awesome on replays. 👍 MR2s really look the part also IMO.
Mid-engine cars are much more 'throttle friendly', so you can really push it sometimes. Give it some time, nk4e. You'll get the hang of them rather quickly. I did.

By the way, Thio, I saw your Silvia Spec R video. Great stuff.

MRs are well balanced, and as stated before, throttle friendly.
The only thing i noticed when driving is that counter steering begins a lot sooner than with FRs. MRs are cool cause you can sort of kick the rear into a slide real fast.

I find that you have to react faster than you would in other drivetyrains in order to get the drift you want (i.e a good one) Paying attention to when and how much you countersteer is the most important thing... I would suggest experimenting with what different steering inputs create at different points of the drift... You can really pound on the gas, but if you want a nice drift feathering the throttle will bring you more sucess...

Just like anything else all you need to do is get used to it... I usually drive really light MR cars, so the NSX isnt really my cup of tea as it feels quite heavy whenever i get around to driving it. Anyways just experiment and get used to the drivetrain...

If you want to feel the MR cars, try the Elise 190 or the MR2. I feel the NSX not as oversteering car as these ones.

Be careful, mr's are harder to recover from a near spin because of the weight balance, and harder to control at the limit. You must countersteer quicker and be on your toes a bit more than rwd cars, IMO. It is a good to know how to drift them though to make you a more rounded drifter.
