Anybody actually use the horn?

Yes. When I hit a barrier or a car at high speed I will hold down the horn button to pretend that my driver was killed in a crash. Only missing is a Resident Evil style Game Over cue when that happened.

I use it frequently online. Mostly to let someone know I am next to them while overtaking. I also use it when people bump into me. Rarely I will use it after being stuck behind the slowest most professional blockers. At first I try to overtake nice and easy. If I get blocked or shut out I start to get more aggressive. If it continues I start honking. If it gets to the point where I am running off track and slamming on my brakes..... Be prepared to go wide next turn bud, my car is gonna be on the inside.

Lol if using a horn is trolling. I am usually the cleanest racer of the group, but if I feel like spamming the horn at you then deal with it. This is seriously the lamest complaint I have seen on gtp, but I guess there will always be "that guy" that cries about anything. Don't be that guy buddy. You have real life stuff that's more important. Lol, you can barely even hear it online too. Thanks for the laughs.

No problem... You might notice that my post quoted three players who use the horn "constantly," "all the time," and "so frequently that I have two horn inputs on my controller." The horn can be used properly and most people are courteous in this way. That guy who is not courteous can ruin a fun experience for others, that is all I am saying. Yes we all have to deal with horny behavior and it's OK to talk about it here on GTP.

I only use the horn when theres that asshole on the Nurburgring who wont move to the right with their slow car.

That's cool. I still don't understand how it can affect people. Even with my volume blasted I can barely hear the horn over the other noise. It's the same on my buddies tv's. Maybe you have super hearing?

Uhh no, I can't hearing a horn. Because I'm deaf. I used a flashing light as a horn.

I never use it, honestly, but in the League I race in, we use the horn to tell them good luck, which is good sportsmanship.

In the league I race in, the horn is used to piss off the stewards. Don't piss off the S.N.A.I.L. stewards.

After qualifying, when it's going though the grid, everyone lays on the horn. Lol

I use the horn - like a range finder... beep the horn and you can judge the distance and direction to the car ahead by the return echo (You need good speakers or headphones of course - and a bit of practice.) - very useful for driving in heavy rain or foggy conditions.

I use the horn all the time. It's much more satisfying if you have a wheel. Smashing the horn button like it's nobody's business.

I would love 2 see a feature in the game where the AI flips off anyone who blasts the horn at them. Only then you can call it the real driving simulator...
