Anybody else bored out of the game?

When Im starting to get bored of a game I find ways to keep it interesting. Trying new things and make the game more challenging before I give up on it. Or I would rest from the game for a week or a month and play other games or do other things IRL.
 
i havent played it since dec i wish i have never bough it tbh since i already have gt5
 
I still play gt6 tuning cars.But for the moment i playing more battlefild 4 do to ranking on my crew/platoon
 
S class was stupid short.. a whole 8 races? No endurance, no B-spec, No course creator, no community features, broken features in online racing, Missing settings in Arcade ( no fuel consumption, tire wear or damage increases ) feels like a quarter of a game... like GT5's Prolog had more to offer then GT6 does... Starting to think this will be the last GT game I Buy, pretty saddened to say that because I've been playing since GT1.

But kaz is too busy trying to "Make his Vision" He must be one blind bastard if he cant see that his fans are Very displeased with this game. I Honestly feel like ive been ripped off, All these things on the game box, that have been left out.. Just flat sucks.

But you don't have GT6. What's the point of your opinion then?

I don't need to have the game to know how it is, and I can have an opinion on whatever I want, I don't have it for a reason and I talk about it for a reason, because I want it to be better.
 
Same here. I thought at least we would have seen one big upgrade with some exciting new stuff by now, bringing GT6 closer towards a state it wouldn't make me feel like I'm buying and playing GT5 again. But nothing has happened after the release, which means it's going in the wrong direction as the game is just getting more outdated. Today I wouldn't even bother to download it if it were free.
As a consequence the conversations are as dull as the game itself. Except for the threads criticizing this miserable GT and the visionary behind it who fails to deliver.

I'm bored of bored people like you being bored for the sake of being bored.

Basically bored needs new letters for people like yourself as five letters doesn't do the feeling justice.

and I'm still playing...lately I've been buying and trying new cars and trying new things..like racing the 550 pp touring car races with my Denny Hamlin Nascar LoL and trying all the LMP cars out

i've been playing GT since day 1, like 15 🤬 years ago!
i've always loved the experience the game gave me and even if there was hard times with (updates in) GT5, it ended as a great game :bowdown:

now, i'm over it!
GT6 is uncomplete, broken and while we expect some necessary fixes, they bring us those useless pieces of 🤬 that are the redbull cars...enough PD, enough :banghead:...i'm already on the ground and you keep hitting me

i bought a brand new PS3 on december 6th and i feel like i should have kept my money to buy a computer to go on Rfactor or another ( real....cough cough ) simulator...

you'll see me back on the next update and i'll go away again if that still is no good.

so sad to say so, really! 15 years, man, 15 !

On PS3? none, unless you want to put up with crappy ports.

unnecessary? can't agree more: i don't need that state of mind...

almost all the buddies i drift with are now on Rfactor, where they have Ebisu and all the drift tracks we're starving for in GT
not to mention there's no trouble with camber, TCS off-track or forcefeedback over there ;)

Gotta admit I've thought that quite a lot over the last month... actually I also thought it a lot about a year ago (when I quit GT5 and went over to its competitor for most of 2013). When you're actually trying to get better as a driver and racer, the state of mind filled with disappointment and boredom is rather tiresome after a while. Obscure movie quote: "Pain creates character distortion. It's simply NOT necessary." Not a literal quote obviously, but it's a thought.

I'm getting very, very bored with silly things like understeer snapping into oversteer when you add a little throttle to correct it and you're almost straight and the wheel is nearly dead center... or I don't know, rolling the car so easily when you take just a little too much kerb (and blow the last lap of a race you worked so hard to be leading). Or not being able to have a decent camera view ("hood" is almost always either roof view or a bumper cam with a little bit of the nose visible). Or those terrible engine sounds that after a while just make you wonder why they can't get that right (it's like everyone else has HD playing on a home theater in 5.1 and you are still listening to mono cassettes on a cheap boom box). If they hadn't made career mode so short, I'd still be ignoring all that to keep doing new race events.

Dunno, this may be the year for saying bye bye to the console "simulators".
 
I'm already moving on from GT6, played some Gran Turismo 2. Wow the intro is brilliant, great music and atmosphere. Loaded up arcade, drove Audi TT on High Speed Ring, on normal level.

It was great to have a grid start!, and the racing a tight all the way for 2 laps, I was second till the last corner, then took the leader on the straight. The AI was very similar, the analogue controls weren't great, sound was VERY similar, graphics (don't ask!) but very playable.

Overall quite impressed with the game, especially the AI and grid start!

It took me 8 months to get tired of GT5. It has taken me less than 1 month to get tired of GT6

Its very simple.. I I played GT5 3 times end to end and collected every single race car 3 times.. It was a Joy

GT6..A Total FAIL! I get blood pressure and I want to throw the controller at my TV.. a source of irritation and I now suffer from Tourette syndrome. :p

In all fairness 6 of those 8 months in gt5 were probably spent in loading times.
 
It has less features than GT5 for offline mode/arcade and I feel as if I bought a sim that shouldn't have been released as it is a right mess. I'm wondering if it was released in a hurry as a tactic against Forza.
I don't think it would be wise to think GT6 will ever be a polished product as GT5 wasn't.

It's a pity because some aspects of the game are brilliant and realistic but it's really just a demo or a prologue 2. I'm not looking forward to that stupid long drive in the countryside "track" either.

Can I get my money back?
 
In many ways I feel the same way. I definitely get the feeling of an "unfinished" product with this game. However, I have seen videos and read numerous threads and articles talking about future updates which might contain enhanced game play and the more obvious game content like cars, tracks, handling tweaks for weather and for the LOVE OF GOD, a tire pressure adjustment feature. There are also a few "head scratchers" like for instance, how they can give a stock vehicle with a known solid rear axle (1964 Pontiac GTO) a default setting of +0.20° toe in or how PD refuses to include a drag racing mode...

I don't know, man. It's a visually stunning game but like you, I too get bored with GT6 now in its current state sometimes. I will stay hopeful and loyal though. Happy 15th, Gran Turismo!!
 
What features are you missing?
 
with more future updates & A-Spec Seasonal events to come it will get better but yes the game got boring quickly which is a shame all that car & tracks but not much to do , if there was any event/championship creator that gave out payouts you could find use for everything
still , community features , more new cars & tracks ! , track creator , ayrton senna update & more events to come up in seasonal events i think the game is worth it [ if there is anything else confirmed someone add please ]
 
I know what youre missing. The usual GT game like other GT games were. Where you need to play months and months to get 100%. I remeber i took me half a year to complete GT4, 3.5 months for GT5, and GT6 well... its becoming less and less..
I heard GT6 can be completed in about 50 hours...
