GTF. was indeed the number one place for GT for many years, until the owner decided it was no longer what he wanted and shafted a whole lot of long term loyal members and sold off the web address.

Some formed The GTX mentioned above and many of the old GTF members can be found there, however the spirit of the old GTF is not there, the place is quite slow for news.

And since tthe demise GTP has risen to the top of the tree as THE place for all things GT.

However not much goes on there at all.
