The owners probably keep them untill they decide to do another project car. Then they sell them to different owners and they probably end up ricing it out.

True but i have owned an Ex feature Pro street car in Uk and two of my Friends have owned others. It just seems some disapear without trace ? Some must survive and be stored or detroyed?

I had a friend who had a car he bought that was on one of those tuner books.

Basically he bought it, couldn't afford it after a while, then took it apart and put it into the parts bin where it was sold piece by piece.

He couldn't find anyone to buy it because it was allready heavily modified.

If people are going to dump $20,000+ into a Civic they usually want to do it to their own tastes. I know I would.

Why pay so much money for someone elses vision of a nice car when I can make my own for the same amount of money?

I can make it just the way I want it as well as getting to enjoy going through the whole process of watching the car evolve.

I am pretty sure I make no sense, must be the crack talking again.

I've wondered about this at times also, some cars just seem to vanish..

I have seen a lot of ex show cars end up at auctions lately.

Thats why i bought Ex feature car.
Can't be bothered with knuckle scraping on cold nights in garage.
So paid the price for someone elses work.
Although i have Finished 2 unfinished projects.
But rather drive them than build them

Not bragging purely looking for some similar cars people !
Im not sure if you are friend or foe ?
Still each to there own.
Lots of members post similar stuff ?
do you greet them all the same?

I don't think he was necessarily bragging, people might have feature cars in here.

Thanks 4 your kind comments:)
Im not bragging or stating that the cars ive posted are anything other than "Turds". Far from it i am fully aware of the time and money and resources it takes in the UK to Own build and Run a quality Rod or Custom All that i am doing is looking for like minded people, the cars i posted are mostly from the early 90'S
And UK based and far from being any where near the quality and standard that they were originally built to. Again different level of Quality than compared to USA Street Rods and Fast road cars.
The Consul was on its third or fourth owner, who had all used and abused it in there own way.
All im doing is seing if anybody else has anything in there garage that others may remember from the past ?
I dont particularly like JApanese shopping trolleys that so many people on these forums rave on about, Its all about personal taste !
I can see the level of investment and work invested in them, but i dont insult the people that like them !
Thats it ive had my rant for today.

I like them all. I like crude hot rods (:
and oddballs like the Studebaker hearse also rule.

Well we are not getting the car for free! :D I'm sure my boss will be paying on the Z for a loooong time! :) But I'm sure it will be money well spent... and he is going to let me "test drive it"... RIGHT BEN?!?!

Also, this car was not a trailer queen! Ben drove this car at a couple drift days and even took it to Tsukuba circuit in Japan, I will see if we can get the video's we have of it hosted and I will post them up for you guys!
