I feel like out of all the Japanese car-makers, Mazda is the least represented in GT5. Sure there are about a billion FD, FC RX-7's, and MX-5's, but there is so much more to Mazda than that.
Some glaring omissions:
R100
Luce
RX-2
RX-3
RX-3SP
RX-4
Eunos Cosmo
Possible RM version? As with the RX8 below...the sound....the sound!

RX-7 (SA22C) (mine pictured
)
SA22C IMSA Spec (responsible for over 100 IMSA wins in only 6 years)
SA22C Group B Spec
Looks like stonking great fun on a rally course

Mazdaspeed 3/6 (MPS for outside the US)
Grand Am RX-8 (RX-8 GT)
And listen to the sound!!

REPU (rotary engine pick-up)
The RX-3, SA22C, and RX8 GT are responsible for over 200 international racing wins, and none of them are in basically any video game. The Cosmo is the only 3 rotor production car ever. The Luce, RX-4, and R100 are just beautiful. All of them seem entirely 'up GT's Alley' but yet none are on GT5. A few of the above were in GT2 though, so it's not like PD doesn't know about them. I kind of think that outside of the FD and FC RX-7, rotary powered cars are just not very popular in Japan. They are hugely popular in Australia, New Zealand, the US, and Puerto Rico though. Come on PD, give us more rotaries!
