Anyone else surprised the BMW E30 is on the top at the feedback section?

Classic BMW car, but never thought it would make it to the top of the GT5 car wishlist and by such a large margin...

It would be really nice to have it at some point... especially the M3 version.
 
Not surprised really (I'm biased though ;) ). It's an iconic car in European touringcar championships. The e30 M3 was the benchmark of its time.
 
Nah, didn't suprise me all that much. A wee bit maybe. I mean, the M3 has a pretty big following, all around. And while the E36 is probably more common as far as actual racing goes, the E30 sparked it all. It's a classic.

It ran it the DTM of old (the golden years of DTM, I might add) and has that lovely, boxy late 80's, early 90's euro stiyling. Plus, with a bit of proper tuning, it could tear up a lot of tracks (and cars) in the lower HP classes.

And it would go oh so well with a premiumised E190 2.5-16 Evo II :D

Then again, I'm one of those that voted for the E30... So yeah ;)
 
Yes I'm very suprised, I never thought there would be so many people that know what a glaring omission it is, and I'm not even a fan of BMW, infact it's the only BMW I would ever even consider owning. I would have loved a 320is In real life but they are so hard to find.
Anyway at least if PD ever look at the feed back they will realise we're not all obsessed with modern rif raf and supercars.
 
the e30 M3 Sport Evolution would of gone PERFECT with the mercedes e190 in the game.
after i purchased the e190 i went straight online and looked to see what e30 was in the game, only to find out that it wasn't in the game. total bummer.

btw... where is this feedback section you speak of?
i'm guessing not the gtp feedback section because i was unable to find anything there.
 
Needs to be added ASAP. I really don't understand how they have other iconic cars from DTM of that era such as the Merc and Alfa, but not the E30, sacrilege I tell ya!

You will find it in the GTP feedback, wanted cars section, it's on the right side of the page, under how many votes you have.
 
I'm not surprised at all. Even before the feedback section this was the car most people seemed to be bummed about not being in the game.

Well, as I would really love that car to be in the game too, I can't say I'm surprised :) It's a beautiful car...
 
I'm not surprised at all. It's nice to see other people share my love for these cars. In all forms the E30 is one of the best looking cars imo, I use to own a 325i and is the only car I regret not owning anymore. I still have the memories though :)
 
Not surprised people want it, but im surprised it was at the top.
I was VERY surprised however, that no one suggested premium Porsches.
I quickly suggested it and 3 voted it:sly:

Yes it was a grate car(m3 e30) but the most succesfull touring car of the 80"s if not the gratest of all time was the mighty ford sierra rs500.It dominated globally so the they had to make new rules every year(adding more restrictions) so the rest of the car makers could make their cars more competitive but the damn thing kept winning!!!Although my psn name shows clearly that i"m obssesed with this car i did own in the past both of these great roadracers(m3 e30 and rs500) and they are both grate in their own unique way!!!
 
I'm more surprised this iconic car isn't in GT5, especially since it's mentioned in both in-game museum and the APEX book. Love the E30 M3, or just about any E30 really!

Add me also to the list of wanting Porsche
 
There are many iconic European cars that are strangely left out of the GT series, maybe thats the problem....that they are 'European'.....? :confused:

Cozy here. I guess I'll stay in here until the release of all E30's as DLC and post meaningless pictures. And to your question: Yes, I'm surprised, last time (ideas.gtplanet) my E30 idea barely made it in the top ten (it was all full of horrifying Saabs and Veyrons).

I'm glad it's at the top, it should've been in from the get go. Would love to see more bimmers, as you can tell by my username. :)
 
A E30 M3 would be a nice addition since it was a significant car, and plus it would be fun. However, I'm not absolutely dying for it to be in GT5. TBH, I'm actually relatively satisfied with the cars in the game.

Whats truely suprising is the Sonax 190E DTM car is in it, but the BME E30 touring car isnt (and same again for the road versions). The BMW were (AFAIK) more successful than the BMW's.
