They both "got me", but I'm still here posting and I didn't have to log back in.

They wouldn't. The logout is slightly more complex now, so simply C&Ving the link to logout that I have won't make anyone who clicks on it logout.

I recall someone did it a couple of years back, and we lost a bucketful of members who used their cookies to remember their login and, once they clicked on the link and their cookies were cleared, couldn't remember it to log back in again...

Here too. Must be an individual link, which I reckon has to do with the "hash" part of the link. Jordan must've been tricked a lot into this if he built extra protection against logout-links

Viacom offer to buy isoHunt for $2B

This is certainly great news, and an affirmation of the value of content distribution over the internet. You know, 2 billion dollars can buy some nice things. But the fact that they can't seem to make up their mind on whether they want to sue ( and sue ) or buy is causing some slight unease.

We are waiting on a pending offer by Yahoo. If it works out, we can buy a few more international waters oil rigs and invite everyone to a massive party. There will be a lot of fish, I assure you. More news to follow.
