I know that the Meijers store in Troy, Ohio still has a Collectors Edition sitting in their showcase or whatever. I thought about buying it for the chromeline cars and especially the key chain.. but 100 bucks is a little steep for just those since i already have the game lol.

It's not possible to send DLC cars.

If it's unused those codes expire the same date as the one in the photo I believe. There is no point in getting that for the chromeline cars though, they are the same as the other non chromeline cars and the cars they give you are not that great. Ebay has them all the time. That is where you have the best chance of getting them.

You are confusing the Pre-order codes with the chromeline codes. Many of the preorder codes expired in Feb, some did not, I have some that expire 2012.

The chromeline codes in the U.S. expire the date shown above. I just checked mine...and all the ones I have seen all expire the same date in 2013. I'm pretty sure the dates they chose were to keep preorder cars exactly that...the chromeline cars though come as part of a game package you buy.

Even the preorder cars are not all expired, but the standard chromeline cars that come with the game expire in 2013...I'm 99.9 % positive.

Most people who spend the $100+ for the collectors edition, would probably want to redeem the code themselves, if they didn't then they would probably just buy the regular edition and save the money.

That means that you'll have to wait 40 days until you'll get the cars, unless the guy is nice and gives you them first.

But still, 40 cars is a lot to ask for.

No-one will stop you though if you want them that desperately, just make sure that you don't get scammed or something.
