Just wondering if you can do wheelies on some cars.
I remember in one of the gt's you could make a viper
do a wheelie, Has anybody tried it yet?

Hmm I managed to get the Camaro to wheelie at Deep Forest just after turn one, but that was on an incline so doesn't really count.

interesting idea. i imagine it would have to be on a light yet powerful RR car with racing slicks on a dry track. Maybe adjust the suspension in your favour.

Which cars can you wheelie in real life with the modifications allowed by GT5? I would expect them to behave the same - after all, wheelies are just a product of weight transfer and suspension setup, all of which should be modelled accurately by GT5.

How was it done in GT4?

LOL!!! i have similar pics to this... mine come from hitting walls on angles tho :( that car looks like genuine fun my friend.... i will trade you my veyron for it.... PAUSE.....PAUSE.....PAUSE.......NOT!!!!

LSD everything into the back. Rear ride hight lowest possible, front highest possible, then FLOOR IT!

Don't to forget to loossen the rear suspension and stiffen the front. Or was it the other way round?

Btw, I'm busy on a Dodge Charger 440 R/T '70. I'll try and get it to do wheelies. Update incoming! :D

I would trade my Veyron for it. That it one super awful car.

I remember i used a dodge viper (the gts-r or rt-10 dont remember :P) .
But back then you could tune it up to more then 1000hp.

Now i got a srt acer but no luck this far.
Got to get me some cr. first before moving on to the gtsr.

I remember using a "game genie?" to edit the horsepower on cars on an older version of GT. That made it really easy to pull wheelies.

I could get some cars to wheel stand from a standing start in GT1 but not in any newer GT game. I got some great 400m times and it looked hot.

I sort of did it with a Countach. In the historic race, caught a bit of air and went off track, and on my way back onto the track, hit a little bump, and the front came right up. It was a very strange thing driving in bumper cam and looking at the sky. I'm guessing it was more of a fluke, and bumpiness of the track, but still, it looks funny on the replay.

The car is actually really fun. Handles like the go kart but with a higher top speed. 269HP and 416kg(917lbs)!

The power to weight ratio is BETTER than the veyron. 1.52 vs. 1.17 kg/HP

I remember the Escudo doing it in GT3 or 4, but it was an areo thing too. Front adjusted down all the way and rear up all the way, when you get over 100 and play with the throttle it would just ride up to a wheelie.

But neither Fm3 or Gt5 allow real like wheelies, its the tire traction problem. FM3's tires seem stickier, I can get a ZR1 to hook up in first gear with a 4,000 rpm clutch drop, and floor it by 6,000 rpm and have traction. However in GT5 it seems much harder to launch the ZR1 ( or any RWD sports car) at any RPM and not have wheel spin in 1st gear. This of course is with stock tires and all aids off for both. Hell just trying to replicate a real world 0 to 60 time in GT in any sporty rwd car is almost impossible, seems best when using the onscreen throttle indicator up around 50% which has you car bouncing insanley off the rev limiter, but seems to give a quick launch.

Wheelies just are not a part of sim type racers I think.👍

Just cut the final Chicane at Nurburgring GP/F and You'll be able to keep it up for a while as long as you have a fast car.

For side wheel wheelies, the Lotus Elise is unbelievable.

This was done by accident in practice mode on deep forest 1st corner was on the grass and trying to get on track the car came off the grass and coming down the curb it did this wen the back wheels hit the track

you can only wheelie offline

use a manual gearbox, in 2nd gear get to its tip speed, slam on brakes till 30 mph. then give full gas, it will lift up, shift when you hit high revs
