I'm not going to buy ... just because of GT5

GT4 is still a awesome : ), It is the #1 racing game out right now to me. No game thus far comes close to GT4's GTMode. I'm not a fanboy but I haven't played any game lately that I will be willing to play for 5 years.

I'm not arguing GT4 is still good in it's own way, simply reversing someone's comment based on a game's age.

I used to make a wishlist of games I wanted for Christmas and my birthday, that attained racing games. Almost any racing game that looks interesting. But when I began to read into the latest news and forums for Gran Turismo 5, I started to think about the game, more than other racing games that will never come close to becoming as realistic as Gran Turismo.

Ah the whole look how stupid you sound reversal lol. I got ya, I just needed to say something, I am mostly on here early morning and late at night so I'm bored and GTP hasn't really been the place it was a week ago (so much negativity).

When I heard about the delay, I went out and bought Dirt 2 (pretty cheap it was too!) for consolation. Hopefully that will keep me going until the main attraction hits. :)
I recently played the WRC demo-man it was TERRIBLE! PS2 graphics. The only saving grace for it is the amount of tracks it offers. GT5 Course Maker should be able to do that much better!

It's not how old it is, it's how old the design and gameplay are. I guess I could have been clearer, but I'd think most would catch the drift of "PGR style gameplay" and "running from cops, not serious and not for me."
