Power @ 99.9%
Upgraded intake
Sports computer
Semi-race exhaust
ISO manifold
Cat converter sports
No turbo or engine upgrades.
Weight stage 1
Aero added and maxed to 20.
YOUR suspension and Lsd.
I had my brakes at 7/5 due to the comf/soft tires making a longer brake path.
All I did to "test" (and grab gold by more then a second) for the transmission was put final gear to 3.000 exactly, then lower top speed to 149mph.
Thanks again for your setup bro ^^

Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca/Lightly Modded 2012 Mustang GT Tune

This is my personal daily driver recreated in GT6! It is a lightly modified 2012 Mustang GT. Unfortunately, PDI didn't include the new GT with the coyote, so I have detuned the 302's coyote to match the 412hp of the base GT. (though some people claim the real hp figure is actually higher...) Additionally, I have modded the car in-game to resemble the real setup, driving feel and look of the car as closely as possible (can't nix the damn decal though.) I will continue to update this tune as I modify the car IRL. With tax season just around the corner, I have a few small things in mind...;)

This was the car bone stock. Nasty 4x4 stance:yuck:
332165_367536706655637_703390163_o.jpg

Here are the options and mods

Options
Base GT

Brembo brake and handling package.

(Lol factory "Brembos" lasted 17k miles before needing new pads and rotors. Big, heavy car! Admittedly 2 trips The Dragon probably had a lot to do with their demise. These are the same brakes the 302 comes with! yikes. Upgraded.)

Optional factory 3.73 LSD.

Modifications
Ford Racing K springs. 1.5" drop front and rear. Considerably lower and stiffer than stock 302.

Ford Racing adjustable panhard bar

Stoptech Powerslot slotted rotors

Hawk HPS high performance pads

Stainless brake lines (MUCH better braking performance than stock, particularly initial bite and consistent feel.)

Maxxis MA-Z1 255/40ZR19 (this thing chews through tires; particularly rears, like you wouldn't believe. I am on my third set at 25k miles. These are a much more affordable alternative to the OE Pirellis that offer comparable performance and arguably longer life. They are quite a bit noisier though.)

Here is what the car looks like now

And now, for something completely different. I owned an Integra ('92 LS Sedan) when I was younger. I was in college and I couldn't afford to take care of it properly. On top of that, I lived in LA at the time, so I was regularly thrashing it in the wonderful canyons of Malibu (Las Flores to Schueren Road and back down the other end. It is a one way road on the way back down! Check it out sometime if you are ever in LA.) I even drove it across the country once with a leaky transmission, and only noticed when I saw the stain on my driveway when I got back home. The car never missed a beat, and I still see it around town every now and then. Damn good car.

This motor, powered by the Fuel of Satan, has abundant torque available from low rpm, but runs out of steam close to fuel cutoff, so you definitely want to short shift with this car.

2 setups are available for this car: a mildly oversteery grip setup for sport softs; and a wildly oversteery drift setup using comfort hards.

So I was gonna do the Charger 440 R/T, but then Demonchilde said he was gonna do one, so I chose to make a counterpart instead.

The supercharger on this car sounds positively demonic; and I mean that in the most "listening to Led Zeppelin records backwards for hidden messages from the Devil," sense of the word.

Thanks! If you like that car, you should give the Spoon Civic a whirl- it's probably a good 1s faster around Seca!

You did the challenger '70, I thought you said you were doing the CHARGER '70, that's the one I was working on.
Did you do one for both?

Lol

I'm making some cash with my new Pontiac, after that I'm going to dive in head first into the charger

612kg, 10,000rpm, turbo; what's not to like? (Ok, ok 162hp, but whatever ****you. :P)

This little car is hilarious. On sport softs, the game is to see how early you can get on the throttle. On racing tires it becomes a ridiculous game of neverlift. Oh, I also made a drift setup because whatever ****you. 👍

I am not sure how long ago you posted this, however, I believe your rims that are on your Mustang in real life, in the game I think there are rims that are really close to yours....not sure if you checked lately but I am pretty sure there are styles much closer then the ones you've put on the in game Mustang....great comparison from in game to real life, thanks for the share.

Do you know which ones? I thought I looked through all of them and this was the closest I could find in the standard size. Thanks for the feedback! Would love to get more accurate!

This was an awesome addition to GT! I love the proportions of this car. Engine packs a mean midrange punch, will catch you out in 4th gear high speed if not careful.

Nice tune on the Nova, thanks! I really like how you have the car set up...very nice balance overall as I found the car very neutral. Now I haven't added all that power yet, only just a few, like 1st stage power, semi racing exhaust. I decided to stay with the Soft Sport tires and went with the hard suspension. What I was really curious about was your diff settings...and I found the transitions thru the power band, up thru the gears very smooth.

Right now I am sitting at 469hp, and 1400kg with stage 1 weight reduction, body color carbon hood and window weight reduction. I have bought all the other power, tire, weight reduction and suspension upgrades..however I just wanted to bring it up slowly to see the differences with your tune.

I have picked WillowSprings to do my testing as I believe its an all around track that gives you a dogs breakfast of speed and turns with nice elevation changes thru-out the turns. I just a couple of quick tests running 1min 22sec times.

So it should be interesting to see what kind of times I can get with this oldie but goodie. So far I am really enjoying it, nice to see that GT put this blast from the past in.

Ok, so there are a few that are closer to your mustang. Currently on the GT version you're running a 10 spoke, your mustang is a dual 5 spoke type...what I see that close, and they're in the 1 inch up and standard is; Ray RE30 (which is a dual 6 spoke, but I think way closer then what you have now)...also there is the Enkei SC05...two different version as well and again 6 spoke

Also, look at the Ray's 57 Ultimate

Thanks for the feedback! I found Motor City Hami's LSD tuning guide for GT5 to be most eloquent and enlightening.

Big willow is awesome, esp. that last corner that seems to go on forever! You should give it a spin on max settings too! You will be surprised at how friendly it is with 700hp.

Yeah, I have actually regarding that guide...you've seemed to of worked out the kinks on that Nova for sure. I think we have similar handling tastes. I also read you've had your Stang on the Dragon...I totally hear you on the brake replacing lol..I was there in 2008 on my bike, rode from Ontario....Took the Blue Ridge Pkwy as far as we could going there. I was riding a heavy cruiser, the bike with fuel is almost a 1000lbs....with me 1225lbs...so slowing down that beast on the Dragon took a lot of pad.

Then for giggles thru my wife (she rode her bike down as well, just not comfortable riding the Dragon) on the back of mine for a hot lap...the bike actually handled better with the two of us. I also ground down about quarter to half inch of my floor boards as I has a small fireworks show shooting out from back of my feet. Great place!

Honda S800 '66 Drift Tune

Not an easy car to drift. ( but whatever ****you.) Because of how little torque the motor produces, higher entry speeds or e-brake are recommended to initiate oversteer. Use 3rd, 4th, and 5th to drift. Nitrous can be used to correct in lower gears and is absolutely essential to intiate/maintain/correct angle in 5th (basically just hold the nitrous button down in 5th and correct with the throttle.) Very, very entertaining once you get the hang of it.
