I wonder if console will be waiting until end of November for this first Porsche Pack. We still have to receive the Japanese Pack and Red Pack and I have a feeling they will be our September and October DLCs with us being two months behind PC. Looking at these gorgeous Porsche teasers is great but the wait could be looong.

Not necessarily. Stefano said in his last stream that the Japanese and Red Packs were still being ported over to the console (along with some other things) so they have a bit of a delay. But any assets or features they're building now are having PC and console versions built at the same time so it will eventually speed up the console releases. Presumably/hopefully they've been doing that with the Porsches.

Good point, I hadn't considered that. That could be great news. Thanks.

You know I don't consider myself a Porsche fan. Maybe it's because growing up there aren't a lot of games that features Porsches, so they always feel a bit "distant" to me. That is, until I played NFS Porsche Unleashed many years ago. That game truly captures the passion and magic of Porsches. Nothing else comes close. Until now that is. I hope Kunos adds the Carrera GT too. Would be interesting to see how well it keeps up with the 918.

Also someone should do a reshoot of Chris Harris' Portimao triple hypercar video with AC 👍

Carrera GT would be nice but adding the likes of the Carrera RSR Turbo Gr.5, 935 (Moby Dick) and the 956 would just be extraordinary.

Less than one year ago, we lived one of the most surreal days at Kunos Studios, in Vallelunga. Some people from Porsche paid us a visit, to have a closed-doors meeting that has gone forward for two days. So: me, Stefano and another programmer was discussing with Porsche in a meeting room. In the meantime, Aris was in the other side of the building, in our office, working at the simulator with one of the Ferrari engineers who created the 488 GTB, discussing about car handling, physics, features, and so on. That was, actually, a coincidence of dates, and the respective teams didn't met each other.

Two months later, a new billboard appeared on Vallelunga track, showing the new Porsche 911 Carrera S, presented a week earlier at Estoril circuit in an official event, where Porsche brought some simulators powered for the first time by Assetto Corsa.

In October 2016, after one year, both cars will be performed in our game, being reproduced as never done before. On PC, PS4, XB1.

Well, let me say: what a day.

That is amazing really. Kunos didn't even need to court Porsche, they just come by themselves! Even if AC ends up not succeeding in console sales, with such strong support and recognition from manufacturers you can be assured that Kunos still has a bright future.

Now, when can we expect a visit from Aston Martin or Koenigsegg? :D

Have you given the One:1 a go? They really modeled a beauty for us. Not exactly sure how accurate it is to the real life One:1, but it's fast as heck! :D
