it was really extraordinary.
I wonder, if it's possible to make texture overlay of mud/sand on the track (same as skidmarks), and fix surface traction of the track. Also make some transparent layers in the upper outside part of the tracks and inner side of the track (in the corners) with difference traction to main part. Would be something like dynamic surface

You can use up to four in-game HUD/app 'desktops' (so to speak) in CM/CSP, so the option I employ is to map onscreen apps (in various combinations) to one HUD screen or another and then leave one blank. You can then toggle through the HUD combos with the joystick on your wheel, or assign the switching to a button on the wheel and step through them.
didnt knew about this, interesting. where exactly can i find this in CM ?

Had a play with lining up sim footage with real (Verstappen’s best from FP2) - visuals hold up very well (and this was before BlackCelica’s latest skin) :eek: - a bit of time to find on qualy times though.

I had to check to see if there was any progress on this, and my god those turn 1 videos still impress me.

Thanks for checking-in... Have been working on all fronts (IRL inclusive), with limited time to test, assess and redoing required-changes, etc... Since asking, would you be interested to assist with the testing-phase, exterior feedback would be neat, let me know.

Im really sorry to you and Kevin, he pointed me to delete those bin files but i forgot to do it as I was on a hurry the day i uploaded the track. I've been away from home for a week now so I haven't been able to mod since then but Im glad you all sorted it out.




There is no version of Calder road course out there? I was focused on the Thunderdome but I got some troubles making it so I halted.

I just got my hands on this prettttttttty nice Viper 1999 ACR edited by GIBBONS. Better late than never, this is the coolest Viper of them all in my opinion.

Just one thing bothers me. There are no traditional white stripe -skins. They should be simple to create (I have in my white stripes on blue and red, plus blue stripes on white), I could maybe do it myself if I had the template. But I don't. Any skinning-specialist interested to correct this?

can sidekick (or any hud i guess) be mapped to a button, so it displays while the button is pushed in, but dissappears when button is released?

Idk...never tried. Sidekick is always present on my screen.

CeeBee - if you want to use this method and only have 1 HUD that you like, then leave 2 HUDs empty and alternate your actual HUD to simulate on/off with a button.

HUD 1 = sidekick
HUD 2 = blank
HUD 3 = sidekick
HUD 4 = blank

ok, im my scenario i have an off screen tablet with most telemtry on it, i prefer the triples to be pure car, nothing else onscreen, but, it would be nice to have a push-to-show button that temporarily pops open a telemetry HUD while button is pressed, kinda like how I can map a push-to-talk button for voice chat.

@TheRealCeeBee - in the current scenario, there's no way of mapping apps to a button via CM (another user-feature-to-request).

To by-pass this practical shortfall (or yet-to-be-improved), try a combination of what was prescribed earlier, and since you're already displaying telemetry to another external device - then just assign a wheel-button to display the UI layout-screens, and cycle until showing the active 'sidekick' app...

Also looks like the mapping is not the best, with some areas not aligning, particularly with the stripes... Take a look

With a bit of time some paint-padding can be done to get stripes to align...

I'm sure I attempted this ages ago but gave up due to what @racealot has pointed out..the mapping is a bit crap on this one and I think it made it a bit of a pain to make even simple skins for.

I'll see what I can do. I love that mod but without the stripes it really doesn't feel the same as the Viper I used to have back in the day (BBurago 1:24).

Hello ... I found this free tt rs 2019 a few days ago and since I don't know who the author is, I wanted to know if I can upload it here in case someone wants to make some repairs, such as that the lights do not work and the chassis it hits the asphalt on several occasions just by turning, in general I like the rest but I don't know how to fix it

You are at least closer than I am....I am another second out....not sure if I am using ERS right or using the right aero....

wow, good one! but is it possible to add flying dirt (same effect when you go on the grass). I think it is if to add it to surface ini

If the track is split up in a proper way, it can be done. Many of my tracks have a track edge that differs in grip and debris effects. Already I have tracks with several types of sand/dirt/grass with varying degrees of grip. Coming soon I will have a track with 9 different surfaces of differing grips and effects.

Thank you - I have the setting set now. Where do you define the value (app) of the HUD #? I may have map open and other items i dont want to cycle on / off.

I mapped it very haphazardly I'm afraid, I was only after a nice AO map and didn't pay any attention to how it could be skinned, mostly as the original car was so badly done that I'd already lost hope of keeping the racing stripes. Someone will most likely need to map the car for skinning, something that's beyond my current time constraints.

Ah yeah i remember the original was way worse so your mapping isn't so bad. If I had more time and fewer projects i'm meant to be working on I would have another crack at this.
