As i read this, i realized, we aren't even sure yet if AC Evo even comes to the consoles at all, right? Same probably with AC Rally here.

Probably some time after full launch, they don't have the capacity to make all versions at once

I need to stop getting excited for Kunos games though after AC and ACC but I can't help it when the screenshots for this on the Steam page look so good, fingers crossed it comes to console at some point.

No.

Kunos themselves confirmed that there will be console version of EVO but we are not sure when. Definately after they will release game on PC.

As of AC Rally I think there is big chance it will also be on consoles.

It's a different dev team and studio from ACC, AC, and ACE (they have had technical assistance from Kunos - but it's not a Kunos developed title).

The dev team is made up of former Milestone, Codemasters and SMS members

That dev team make-up firstly gives me confidence in this being a very good rally title, but also confidence that it will actually come to consoles this century.

Big video from Traxion with lots of gameplay. Looks good. Very nice surprise.

That is good to know their background, it was more that it was based on AC's physics engine (from Famine's article on the news page) that worried me, hopefully the tweaks they have made make it play a little better than those other titles.

Wow😊🤪, I'm in shock lol., just saw it, if it's gameplay, it looked amazing to me.
My wish just made true, can't believe it almost.
🤞🙏 come to consoles oh please...
Thank you thank you kunos lol.🥳🥳🥳

Edit: they say it's been in development for 5 years already 😲, and will only have 10 cars at 1st, but will eventually get full classes of rally cars, historic etc.

Might be a while then still before full game and release. Seems to say consoles will be considered afterwards only.
Sure hope it will really.

Seems a full sim from traxion.gg preview.

My next dream would be if they made a full bike sim.🤞😁

Well, this was a nice early christmas present out of nowhere. I was a bit sceptical when I read "Unreal 5", what with the stuttering mess in recent games and the criticism it has received over the last year. But it certainly looks like this team has it figured out. Also, the suspension movement and the way the cars move on the surface looks really good. Hoping for the best.

What a time to be alive, I was dreaming of EA's WRC on Unreal Engine 5, now Kunos & Co. can deliver it instead, glorious!

UE5 stating their engine can run 4k60 I think it was with RT on consoles in their latest 5.7 maybe demo, nanite foliage I think, perfect trees to wipe us out, hopefully the needles fall onto us too as we gaze out over a cloud inversion on some scenic mountaintop, Bob Ross winking between the clouds.

More or less those have been my reactions.

I don't have any real issues with the Kunos titles, on PC at least.

ACC is the only one, for me, that has a few oddities in it. AC mods have shown that the engine itself can handle loose surface stuff more than well enough, and the current build of ACE is solid enough as well.

Add to that former members of the three studios discussed and I'm quietly confident. SLRE is still an underappreciated rally gem, Project Cars rallycross was excellent, it's actually the Dirt series (even rally) that for me is the weak link (mainly on tarmac - but SLRE nailed that).

Both are coming to console.

They already have a working console version which gets updated as they go along.

Laser scanned course, a first in a rally title? Unreal engine 5 sounds concerning but then there's only going to be one car on track. So much less work to fight against. I just watched external footage and the cars behaviour looked really good, of course that visual representation doesn't mean anything in terms of physics but it makes my nipples hard nevertheless.

Laser scanned stages is definitely a first, plenty of games have done high detail recreations such as RBR and WRC but laser scanning is a first.

UE5 should be fine, WRC was rocky at launch on UE4 but 5 should help mitigate some of the issues that game had.

It really helps not having to deal with 18+ other cars on track. Hopefully they add rally cross as it would be a shame to not be able to race Vs mates. 6 players would be fine.

UE4 and EA WRC was both the best and the worst part of that combo. With long stages but poor optimization compare to the old DR title. Doesn't boast confidence in this combo...

Good to see more racing titles, and it does look good. That being said, I hate that early access has become so normalized. AC evo went early access 10 months ago and is missing deadlines.

It's hard to get excited about any game when this is how they're being released.

Just buy it untill is released :)

Wait a damn minute! This is an option? I'm not forced to buy? I can just wait until after release and a complete (semi) game it satisfies my expectations? Holy moly. Why hasn't anyone contacted the news of the world about this?
