There's difficult and there's impossible.

So, it's an under-21 game we're looking for, considering we never played the Netherlands in 79-80 and Gullit wasn't capped until '81.

A reverse image search tells me it is Marco de Vroedt

Never heard of him before, and don't know why he is famous, but at least I know the name :lol:
 
Just a note I dunno how seriously its being taken but the title says "Association Football" Doesn't that exclude international football?
 
Association Football is the official name of the sport, regardless of who is playing it.
 
So, do we have a winner yet, or are we still searching for someone who played one u21 match over 30 years ago!

I thought that the photo with Ruud Gullit would give some leads towards him. And it did. :lol:
 
By using reverse image search, in a quiz where you're supposed to only use your own knowledge...

Anyway, he looks a bit like Paul Stanley, without the makeup. And the goalie looks like Peter Beardsley.

I've learned loads in this thread from other people, but this was found using a method that goes against the very ethos of a quiz. There is no skill or knowledge required to do a reverse image search.

It'd be like me posting this image with the names blanked out and asking for names and careers of these 2 people.

I know Mark Hateley (ex Pompey!) was capped, but not sure if he was at Rangers when capped.
