So, some great racing happened last night and we couldn't have asked for a smoother night!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first race, keeping the pressure on Mustafur consistently, up until I misjudged Jordiehamz' position when he spun just ahead of me, but that's racing. Super proud to have set the fastest lap in Race 1 which from memory was a 1.29.7

Second race was not so good for me. I made a slightly risky setup change and it definitely set me back as the brakes just felt terrible and the tail was everywhere, but that's what I get for changing a successful formula.

Props to @mustafur for yet again another stellar drive in Group A!

I can't really speak much about the Group B race as I was too enthralled in my own battles. :lol:

Now it's on to Mid-Field Raceway for Round 3 next week!
 
Race 1 was a bit rough as I was still learning the car having done my First Laps in Pre Q and only getting a handful of laps inbetween Pre Q and Race, but did some setup changes which I felt could make the car better for the race. Made a few mistakes in the first stint and allowed NW to catch me.

After the first stop which I did quite late a felt much more comfortable and was able to set consistent 29s.

Race 2 was Straight forward, I got a good start and then managed to break away, was able to keep my pace strong right through the stint and was still doing 29s by the pitstop, then once I got out it was the same sceniaro by this stage I was very confident with the car and able to push hard till the end with no mistakes(except when Jordie hit me from behind in T1).

Good racing guys, hopefully more turn up next time though as that was quite an empty track.
 
I got my tyre consumption problems sorted but my braking performance suffered big time. Indy suited the Corvette quite well!

I'm gutted I missed round 2, looks like there was some good action:tup: I hope I'm able to join you guys for the next race at midfield.

I will have points up sometime tomorrow, I have a feeling that the Group B standings will be quite closer now. Same with Group A.

The gap might look big, but remember @mustafur is currently a Wildcard, so he is restricted to less than 50% of the season, unless he switches to full-time before the Round 5 deadline.

The last round only consisted of one race and half the field disconnected throughout the entirety of the race, so you have a bit of an advantage there in terms of races completed.
