There's two different R8's

Initially, Audi called their Le Mans car the R8, this later changed to R10.

''R8'' was carried over to their road car and a racing version of this was made.

So there are in fact two R8 race cars in this game but they are very different.

The one you win at Nurburgring 4hr is the road car turned racecar R8, not the le mans car..

The ''le mans' racecar is ROUGHLY 900kgs (I can't remember exactly) while the R8 road car turned racer is 1300kgs and aroud 600bhp.

The R8 road car turned racer does look like an R8 road car, however, the original R8 le mans car looks like the R10 you can buy from the new dealership.

I know -- I'm talking about the GT class one. There's, as far as I know, a silver one and a black Team Playstation one. I just want to double check that the Endurance race (A-spec 4h Nür) prize isn't this one:

No the one you win is the customer car as Will27 said. The playstation one which is matte black can be bought in the used cars section for close to 6 million.

I've got a BLUE one, did have a RED one (but gave it to a friend for Xmas) and I've also seen it in black, as mentioned above.

This car has got amazing torque, around the 'ring I don't use 2nd gear, it just pulls like a train in 3rd even from the tightest corners. Amazing engine.

It's handicapped because of it's weight - 1300kgs, if it was lighter it's be truely amazing. It's also been converted to rear wheel drive, it's not 4wd drive like the road cars.

It does feel really nice to drive, but for the price, it should do!!!!

Put a mid rpm turbo kit on it and use it as a 'ring car, you won't be dissapointed.

But be warned there are MUCH faster cars around for under 5 mil(lmp, group c, FGT etc)

Yes, 100% correct..

3,000,000 Toyota GT1 will leave the R8 for dead around the ring..

Blatantly should have been a premium this. THE contender to the Porsches on the 24h of Nurburgring race...

Question, does painting this car maintain a two-tone look? (Havn't won/bought this car yet myself) If the black prize car is painted gray, would it turn out as the picture above (with the black body panel behind the door) or would it be fully gray?

Don't know, but other two tone cars like the Veyron and the VW Samba bus will loose their two tone paint job and become one colour if you respray them..
