Its obviously a glitch. Have you ever driven and R8 in cockpit view? It looks just as good as any other premium. It would also help if you posted the picture you took.

i also noticed while in replays the interior is horrendous on most cars especially the Ferrari Italia...

I play in HD on a pretty good sized screen.. I double checked when I seen this thread.. the Dials in the car are pretty clear from My perspective. So Unless It's just me doing something Right I think you better double check as well.

I don't know why, but if I remember well, the textures are crap with lights off in Photo Travel in some cars. Try turning car's lights on.

Seriously, what did you expect? They look pretty darn detailed to my eyes, especially considering most of those details aren't even visible in gameplay.
If you want more detail, just walk into a random parking lot.

what!?!?! are you crazy !why does every other car have good details... the Nissan and the cammaro were put up there to show how bad the
r8 looks.. if you think that blurry mess is acceptable you need to go look at the other cars..

Erm...

I told you, turn car's lights on in photomode, it'll light up the interior and it'll be fine. I've no idea why it's like that, but it is. We were not meant to look that into the interior in the photomode anyways.

kaz must be crazy for detailing the other premiums then... and yes the lights do make them look 100% better but they still looks like smudge marks...

If I recall correctly, cars that were made for GT5:Prologue (Audi R8 4.2, etc.) are slightly less detailed than cars made freshly for GT5 (Merc SLS, etc.). Players were not supposed to access the cars interior in photomode (GT5), so Polyphony Digital obviously didn't deem it important to upgrade the GT5:P cars. They look fine in gameplay anyway, so it's not much of an issue.

And by complaining on this forum you think you're going to change anything? It's sad to see so many people being ungrateful for the stuff the game actually has to offer.

Yes. And not ungrateful.

Frog is right ppl, some interiors are way sharper then others. It looks like some got sharp HD interior quality and others got the blurry HD ones. The blurry look not bad though, but you can read the numbers on gauges less clearly.

Btw. i have a high quality full HD 52" TV to compare the cockpits :sly:

But it's the same with R8 V10, and this wasn't in Prologue. Yeah, it's still mainly the same car, probably more carbon inside etc. But V10 wasn't in Prologue.

The R8 V10 was a copy and paste of the 4.2, then modified a bit to look like the V10, so any mistakes on the 4.2 were copied onto the V10 too.

Maybe you're right, I now remember the mistake with V8 engine in V10 car. They fixed it in 2.0 or earlier, so it's fine now, but it was like that.
